These are not new things. Pretty much why the existing regime loses way more often than they win against these guys. They are aggressive, we are "fluid" or whatever you want to call it. They beat us up because they are usually the aggressor.

This comment pisses me off. I don’t care about how good our school is, we need to be competing with our cross town rivals rather than copping out with an answer like this. Id rather be a dumb school with a good team rather than a smart school with a 14-14 record
We’re just not that good. They’re just better this year than last, and we’re not as good as last year with one of the most experienced clubs in the history of college basketball.
I want both. The administration obviously doesn't feel the same way. You know how some cars look fast just sitting still? Well, VCU looks like they could beat our ass just standing there.

With respect, totally disagree. All schools should be in the business to educate first and foremost. But educational and athletic excellence are not mutually exclusive. Our alma mater does not yet recognize that.

We lead the league in most embarrassing national TV losses. We're just getting pummeled.
Vcu is good but they have looked a ton better against us than most of rest of their schedule. That’s a problem.

This game was over after that 26-6 run in the first half. We’re not built to come back from that.
We’re not built for anything but mediocrity. It’s endless. Same crap year after year.
Our guard play - universally - is abysmal. Across the board except maybe randolph. The other 4 have been somewhere between invisible to awful! And tonight is not an anomaly. We are gonna need wholesale reinforcements at guard or next year will worse than this year.
How can any team win with guards that cannot score.
