Yet once again we spoiled our pants on national TV. Why do we lose the Hunger and Reed recruiting battles that we so badly need to win?
But as some astute observer recently said, it’s better than nothing!, hahahahahaYet once again we spoiled our pants on national TV. Why do we lose the Hunger and Reed recruiting battles that we so badly need to win?
The grecca......went there when we got to 17I don't understand what happened. The first few minutes we were playing great. Then we got to 17, a switch flipped, and, now, more of the same abysmal play we've seen so often.
Mediocrity or Moonocrity? We’re not built for anything but mediocrity. It’s endless. Same crap year after year.
Yep, it is not good. I still have hope for jaynel, but he has a way to go. We really could have used Smith AND Bizjack. Our guard play - universally - is abysmal. Across the board except maybe randolph. The other 4 have been somewhere between invisible to awful! And tonight is not an anomaly. We are gonna need wholesale reinforcements at guard or next year will worse than this year.
Predictable and embarrassing loss. Our flaws were exploited.VCU gets better as time goes on and has a legit NCAA tournament chance again. We likely won’t sniff it for another 5 years. This game sadly about what expected.
Hell, he rewards itCan’t believe the AD can tolerate this twice a year embarrassment
ThisSo far looks like they simply out athlete us & out tough us at every position.
Yah and I even made friends with the vcuins around me in the 2nd half since they might have felt sorry for meWe UR fans are so beat down, only a couple of us are bitching about losing to VCU.
They will send flowers and donate to the SPCA for us.Yah and I even made friends with the vcuins around me in the 2nd half since they might have felt sorry for me
💯Peter Thomas pulled a Mooney tonight by playing Nelson WAY TOO MUCH! His performance was exceptionally poor, thus he did not earn the minutes that he got. I acknowledge that the other guards played poorly as well, so I guess that Thomas could say that he went with what he hoped would work, BUT, UR guards were destroyed tonight.
You can't win when your guard core is virtually no threat to score, are giving the ball away, are poor passers (though Bailey made a couple of good passes), and 1 in particular was getting roasted on defense.
I'm sure! Even they don't get hyped for our game anymore....Yah and I even made friends with the vcuins around me in the 2nd half since they might have felt sorry for me
No fun beating a dead horse.I'm sure! Even they don't get hyped for our game anymore....
More a natural and equal rivalry for them with Dayton. Our 25 pct reinforces this more than being a few miles apart.I'm sure! Even they don't get hyped for our game anymore....
no strength with the ball , easy to turn, easy to back up, easy to pick up dribbel ,easy to throw off balance pass , and not knowing where to be against pressure when other guard has ball , poor to be available for return pass but i guess will get better or will sit and watchPeter Thomas pulled a Mooney tonight by playing Nelson WAY TOO MUCH! Pretty close. Guess the script I was given was altered slightly at the last minute.UR 62
VCU 74
This was pretty much every game we play down there. It's embarrassing and needs to end.
No, wait, there’s some guy from VCU who figured this out, I know I’ve seen him write about it.Smart move by you, buying season tickets to vcu games and then selling all the ones to other games but keeping these. I’m surprised no vcu fans have ever figured out a way to do this in the Robins Center.
