Soft as pudding inside. How many layups have we rushed and missed.
We need to find some toughness this half and make the easy ones...have missed way too many in the 1st.
I think we have some guys with toughness but it just seems to me that our game philosophy just doesn't allow us to show it. I don't get it.
can't watch bc of the SEC Network stuff, but from following, looks like the defense is going through bad spells again. UF scored on 5 of 6 possessions after the under 8 timeout to expand a lead to 11, then UR only got 2 FGs/5 points the last 5m of the half, including zero points last 3 minutes. End of half/end of game droughts are nothing new under Moon of course, but make the lack of defensive stops all the more glaring.
Amen with little over 3 minutes, Quinn goes back in with two fouls and Walz was playing tough.
That was a huge risk plus Quinn had to be soft on D in that situation. That in my mind was poor

I just think some guys looked scared and that led to playing soft. I think we have toughness too.
besides the fact they have called us Princeton twice....who's tired of the word Princeton everytime we play
Feel like it’s been more than twice. Also, refs are killing us (not the reason we are losing but it’s still been bad).

22 points given up in 8 minutes of the 2nd half. Whatever defensive improvement we may thought this team had, well it doesn't. Unless Hunt is some kind of magic maker on the perimeter who solves all woes, they can't hang with good teams on that end of the court.
I don't know. Quinn can back his man down and score at will, but it's not in the game plan.

Yes, need to fix Djis FT situation. Last year I remember him making a lot of clutch FTs , this year it he is shooting straight at the room. Otherwise looking good but FTs looking shaky.
I think it’s mental with him right now. He knows he has to be better and has been in gym every night working on it.
We haven’t been that bad…bad at the line. But Florida has hit shots and refs haven’t been great. They aren’t the reason but should be noted.
absolutely murdered on the boards, particularly giving up a score of offensive rebounds. was it as bad on tv as the box score makes it appear?
I agree...I just mean the bookies have it right again -14, just would like to see a win out of the spiders when not expected....
give up close to 90 points and it's the defense more than anything else. UF was on pace for 50 in the 2nd half after the first 8m and they maintained it. UR never got the stops they needed.
Disagree about the defense. It wasn’t great the entire game but was still decent and Florida hit tough shots. 🤷🏼♂️
