Spiders Pre Season Opponents Countdown - Villanova

Wildcats may have a bad attitude when we travel there in November...the memorable 10-9 Spider win in last season's defensive slug fest was the only blemish on their CAA record in 2014...

Spiders have won some big games on the road in November since Coach Rocco arrived...winning this one seems like a stretch, but so far Rocco is 5-0 versus the two CAA legends Talley and Laycock...maybe we can find a way?

Nova comeback win vs Blue Hens but pay a price.QB Robertson having MRI today and will miss at least Penn game on Thursday.Nova is banged up as are other teams.

Word out of Philly is that it's a PCL tear for Robertson.It's a very tough break for a great QB who,to date,has had a tremendous career at Nova.Not clear as to to the extent of the tear or the prognosis of when and if he returns to the gridiron.

tough luck for Robertson and Nova...wish him a speedy recovery...

but based on win against the Hens it looks like they do have a plan B QB, if needed

Spider fans can sympathize...Corp, Laub, Strauss all suffered significant in season injuries...you've got to have a plan B...

the last UR QB I can remember who was able to play his career without serious injury was Eric Ward...

if he requires surgery, its career ending, however they have a very talented freshman qb who came in and took the game over hate to think we got 4 years to look at him
