Have to admit I did not see that coming! But good for him.

I do think this is the new model. Big schools aren’t going to bother with many HS recruits. Lower schools will pick up higher quality players, play them early and the big programs pick them off.

I have been saying this for several years, I think it will continue.

Aamir had size ,quickness and toughness while at UR.He was injured and lost his starting role.Transferred to Albany and was a standout All American DB.The entire Great Dane defense were tough MFs including Aamir.They were men and we were boys when we met in the playoffs last season.

It reflects the very fine recruiting and developmental capabilities by our staff when players like Malik and Aamir and Kobe among others that originally enroll and flourish at UR.
