2-2 Maine lost to Duke by 34 and beat Brown by 2. Thinking winning team only needs 65 tomorrow night. Hopefully, it's us.
For a moment I thought I had imagined that…Looking forward to a repeat of the 44–42 barnburner we saw the only other time we've played the Black Bears, kicking off Mooney's third season with the Spiders.
Please pass the peyote.Think all our guys can't be as bad as first few games. Glou or Neako goes for 18. GW3 gets some action in gets a dunk and a 3 and Mooney promptly puts him back on the bench in charge of his sippy cup.
While Walz recovers Beagle and Soulis combine for 14 and 12 boards. Hunt is Hunt and gets 19. Spiders win 72 to 66.
Two things:Looks like our PR department is already in mid-season form - this is from the digital program for tonight's game.
"Possible". None of their opponents is D2, so I think more than "possible".I tried to be optimistic this year. I predicted 11 wins in the OOC with a win over Auburn. I also predicted they would win the past 3 games, even after losing the prior games. So in an effort to reverse the curse, I will go back to my pessimistic ways.
Prediction for tonight. Our shooting woes continue, especially with DLO - who is held to single digits. Our lack of scoring kills us. Maine takes advantage and a close game in the first half turns into a 10+ point win for Maine in the 2nd half.
Maine 64 UR 53
Also on a side note looking at Maine's schedule. They seem to playing in an event in Philadelphia after Thanksgiving where they play Elon, UPENN, and Navy. Not saying those are great teams by any stretch of the imagination. But is it possible that Maine got a better event lineup than we did with Florida Tech, Louisisana Tech, and Ball State.

He's lost for words............or he ate them. But back to the communication above. It's crazy. It's so bad, it's like they have a memo to put out bad content in order to de-emphasize the program. Ugghh. Thinking Maine money line now.
Wow expected the opposite - healing to White
I was wondering if the constant subbing in and out has anything to do with forced shots. Maybe we need to let these guys, reserves included, settle in for a little longer so they don't feel pressure to score right away when out there. I normally don't worry as much about that, but we need to consider that when things are going so poorly right now. Maybe all the new guys are trying too hard and forcing things instead of running the offense and letting the game come to them. AP especially might be rushing shots. He has taken some bad ones and has to be a much better shooter than 4-22 from 3. Maybe starting him and letting him settle in will help.Any thoughts on health of Walz or White?
And I do feel like we are forcing outside shots. As in all outside shooters are still in motion when they shoot.
Hoping that changes sometime.
Right might as well experiment - let's goJust saw the lineup. Almost exactly what I was hoping for. I wanted AP and Roche to start, but thought maybe Dusan instead of Tyne. But, maybe Tyne can play better with this group. And, I realize Dusan for Tyne leaves just one main ball handler. Just glad we are mixing it up.
And 8 of them down?Man I'd love to see Citadel Roche tonight. Let him get 10 threes up.
