Games of interest

Pulling for Delaware, but they have only played one team with a winning record this year, Richmond.

Rhode Island has beaten two teams that are 5-4 I think as their best wins. This game will be interesting.
Delaware beating RI and Nova would make the Spider victory over the Hens a better win, as well as putting the Spiders destiny in Spiders own hands.

Of course, Richmond has only played one team with a winning record, Delaware. Spiders do have hopes to get a quality win at W&M and the Tribes only other loss this season needs to be against Spiders. Tribe plays Elon this week and I do not think an Elon win helps Spiders in strength of schedule regardless.
Wofford immediately folded after beating Spiders and are now 4-5, I think. That is going to end up a bad loss no matter.

Another game of interest this Saturday is Towson vs Hampton. The winner of that game can end up with 7 wins, if the Spiders beat Hampton the next weekend, they can win the last week and be 6-6 with a loss to Towson, same type situation for Towson if they win their last three, they are 7-5 and Hampton would only be 6-6, with the needed loss to Spiders.

Have not taken time to look at records beyond these few, but Spiders need as much help as they can get with strength of schedule if they win out, for seeding reasons.

Edit
I checked Wofford remaining schedule; they can win their last two SoCon games, the loss to FBS South Carolina to end season would make them 6-6 to end season.

Campbell first, lets not get ahead of our skis.
You and others here are right about winning one game at a time to be sure we even make the playoffs. I feel sure the team is doing so.
I had not thought of it when posting other teams records earlier, was more thinking about seeding situations, so apologize for getting a little ahead of the immediate need on a week-by-week basis in earlier post.

Fans are not football players. We should look ahead. Each of these games has playoff implications. They are too important to ignore.
This isn't something important like an election. Oh wait.

Rooting Interest:

Delaware over Rhode Island, puts UR in first place in the CAA.
Elon over W&M, almost take the Tribe out of contention for the conference title
A&T over Villanova, providers separation for the Spiders.
Monmouth over New Hampshire.

preferably, I’d like UNH to beat Stony Brook to have more 2 loss teams. At the end of the day, destiny is in our hands though which is all we can ask for.

For fun though, what would be the tiebreaker if us, Delaware, Stony Brook finish 7-1. What about if URI wins today and it’s us, Delaware, Stony Brook, URI at 7-1? I know Delaware can’t get the autobid but who would?

The Rhode Island announcers just said their loss to Delaware would not affect the standings in the CAA. They are claiming they would be co-champions if they win next week.

UC Davis is losing to Montana State, 30-8 in the 3Q. UCDavis is ranked #4 and we are ranked #7 in the Coaches Poll. We could move up to #6. Idaho (#10) is also losing to Weber State.

Both losses will help the conference.

For 11/23,
We want Furman to beat Mercer. That would knock Mercer down on the seeding and open more room for UR to receive a top 8 seed.
We want Montana State to beat Montana. That would knock Montana down below us.
