Key Games -- NET standings and eventual bubble implications ..

What was the UMass league champ team record that didn’t get a bid? They were the only A10 regular season champs omitted to date, I believe? Were they co-champs (seem to recall that?)

23-7 at regular season's end: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006–07_UMass_Minutemen_basketball_team

There was another more recent than that though, they were 22-7 at regular season's end: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015–16_St._Bonaventure_Bonnies_men's_basketball_team

Definitely worth accounting for the co-winner aspect, particular in Bona's case...three-way tie for the regular season championship plus the auto would have meant four A-10 teams. Their schedule wasn't great and they crapped out in their first game of the A-10 tourney, so they got left out.

Not sure if this is a good thread for this, but I believe with the UMass win and Bona loss tonight VCU needs to win against Dayton to get the double bye.

Yep. UMass is done at 11–7 and has the tiebreaker over VCU, so the Rams need to beat Dayton and get to 12–6.

Ecu is taking smu to overtime at smu. Would be a brutal loss for smu who’s up there in the net rn.

Correction, it's only 56–9. Pepperdine had a bucket at the buzzer that they initially counted but looks like they overturned it.

No bubble implications for this one, but didn't have a good place to mention it...Pepperdine leads Pacific 58–9 at the half. It was 39–2 at one point. Romar getting his job back?
So this was from the relief the players had at not having to play for this coach anymore? Or is it an audition for the portal?

One of Pepperdine's bench players started trash talking after dunking to put them up 43–7. Tough guy.

Pacific was winless in WCC play by the way, and yes, they beat Cal.

On another note, Siena and Lafayette have been put out of their misery for the season. Lafayette went 10-8 in the Patriot, what a horrible league.

Colgate's the only decent team. they should dance again for the 4th straight year. and get bounced as a 15 seed again.
