My point about offers not mattering is there are just too many examples of hits and misses to make that a factor in judging someone. Every team, power schools included, will have guys on scholarship who rarely play. Isn't it possible Dji might not have seen the floor had he stayed at Wake, and if so, does the Wake offer really mean that much as far as a tell about a guy? But, I do get what you say about they had to see something, so of course, Dji has talent and showed them something. Look at McCorkle, who you know well. It doesn't get much better than having a UVA offer. Shoot, before we got our transfers, I wanted him here because he can shoot it. But, I would rather have Roche and Bigelow, neither of which had any big time offers. Meanwhile, McCorkle transferred and picked Wofford over William and Mary. Before we added our transfers, I felt he could have helped us. Now, I doubt he would have played much. So, bottom line, his UVA offer means nothing.
