The competition thread

Dayton is not good this year. St. Joe's also is not good, with our without Daly. If all that's standing between us and a winning streak headed to the a10s is the flappy hawk, I'll take those odds.

Believe it or not, I got hired from my economics degree and not based on the basketball team. But my next resume I’ll be sure to put Sweet 16 appearance on there.
We all got hired based on our degrees rather than basketball teams (and contrary to UR opinion no this is not serving you at a restaurant). My point was you have a coach that cannot count.

We have a coach who made a mistake much like you who finds himself on the wrong board. Shit happens.

Golden has fractured finger and this will hinder him and make him much less a threat.
I don’t expect to handle ball as much as usual and he will not be a threat to score unless near the
basket.

If we lose to St. Joe's at home on the last game of the year and essentially "Senior Night," we should pull out of the A10 tournament and disband the program immediately.
Well we didn’t defend like Dayton against SLU 12 of 39 from 2, 7 of 31 from 3...
Let’s not defend like Dayton against SJU 13 of 22 from 2, 18 of 42 from 3...

It would be the cap to this season, losing on Senior night to St. Joes. I don't see it happening. This game is largely meaningless which means Mooney will win it. He is going to save his one last devastating loss of the year for the A-10 tourney. You can pretty much put that in the bank.

I wouldn't call this game meaningless. I think if we lose and UMass wins, that would drop us out of the double bye. Or did I miss something?

It's even more significant than that...win and we get a double bye, lose and we don't. If we lose today, the best we can do is the 6-seed.

Yes, you did. A loss drops us out no matter what.
A win and a UMass win drop us from 3 to 4.

It is amazing with 3 total games left SLU can be 4th to 9th, we can be 3rd to 8th...
