I will be there - figured I would reach out before getting tix and finalizing hotel to see if anyone else is thinking of going since most of normal folks can’t make this early mid season mid week game.
Thx you're right - corrected - typos tend to happen more for me when I writing when I'm the elliptical during lunch time workoutI thought Bucknell was on 11/16?
Hope to see you there Greg. My freshman year Spider roommate in '92-93 was also from Rock Hill as his mother was an administrator at Winthrop at the time.I live in Rock Hill, SC about 30 miles north, I will be there.

Got that right!See you when we beat the '49ers back to the 19th or 20th century
On paper - should be a game we win, but same could be said for Marist.
They have played 2 tough opponents in Georgia (exhibition) and Utah State, so they won't be worried about facing little old Richmond. 3 point shooting might be the key, as it looks like they have 3 capable deep shooters in Rolf, Braswell, and Johnson and maybe even Graves. We let Marist shoot 50% on us and if we let Charlotte shoot 40% or better - it might be a tough night for us as not sure we can keep up.
Still expect the Spiders to come out and win this one.
UR 78 Charlotte 71
I agree with 97. Is this a talented bunch that didn't come together for their first (real) game or do we have deeper issues? I hope its the former, and that we come out with a strong W tonight. One thing I liked from Saturday was D-Lo's aggression on the Court, and his postgame comments. I feel like his leadership will have these guys hungry to bounce back.I think this game will tell us if the Marist game was more of a brand new teams first time together and things didn't jell OR we have serious roster issues and our preseason rankings from most of the A-10 experts are valid.
I still like our roster, I think we have talent and depth. What I question after Marist is whether or not our genius 56% percenter coach can effectively manage the roster and deploy the talent in rotations that actually work. In Game 1, I didn't see any semblance of a rotation, it was just lets throw guys out there and see what happens type of approach.
We are currently 1 of 12 from 3.This is really hard to watch.
