Yale(3-1,1-1)

If you're masochistic enough to reply the game you will see BB called them Maine or the Black Bears at least 8-10 times. The disease is rampete.
Lol. Bob is getting hard to listen to. . It’s like watching CNN or MSNBC now. Delusional

Let’s see- Spiders have 300 yds of offense to Yale’s 123.
Boy, you guys really know what you’re talking about.
Oh yeah, the score is 20-7 Spiders.
You guys are embarrassing.

Or Hannity or Dobbs: worst than delusional, the delirium tremors.
BTW, I love your positive attitude. I may be mistaken, but I thought that I noted one compliment of a player when we were doing okay.
That must have been hard for you.

I’ve been a member for 17 years...how many people can I disparage?!?!? Seriously - hope that folks can calm down. It amazes me how little passion there is in the stadium yet seemingly so much on the message board.

in terms of the game, it was just a tough one to lose. We are just not as talented as some here seem to think. We have some decent pieces but the roster is challenging. I’m not giving Huesman a free pass but I’m also not of the belief that anyone off the street would do better. Yale was more talented. Coaches put some guys in great positions but we didn’t make enough plays. You can’t change the roster right now. We’re better coached in football than we are in basketball - realize that’s a low bar, but that seems to be the bar our AD sets.

Blah blah blah...you are part of the problem. Mooney is a Godsend compared to this crap.

Well the secondary is not in position at all. Never turn there head around to find the ball when it's in the air. We were more talented than Yale by far. Pissed the game away. Poor coaching all around especially defensively. It appears the Russ regime is not going to end well.

Just terrible on multiple fronts in the last few minutes

doc - since you have all the solutions how long are you going to wait to implement them?

football, basketball & baseball. Let me know how long and I’ll rejoin when you’ve got it going.

We had so many opportunities to make plays and put this game away. I’m not a Durden fan and agree that he is a weak play caller, but at the end of the day the players have to make plays when they are there to make. That said, a Clawson coached team wins this game going away. Dropped interceptions, missed open receivers all game, penalties, and poor tackling all hurt. We should have had 35 points in the first half. I think we were a much more talented team than Yale. We had open receivers all game long. Winning teams don’t lose this game. We managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

It seemed we took from the Mooney playbook and started playing not to lose halfway into the 4th quarter. Just trying to run and take time off clock.

Bob is losing it. Not looking forward to watching his hoops coverage this year. Maybe working his radio show and PBP are taking a toll on his brain.

Huesman keeps insisting the ‘kids’ give their all. Well then the obvious conclusion is they are not very good, if this is the best they can do and this is the result we just aren’t very good. Only the coach can fix that, recruiting, better off season training, better coaching etc.

It seems they forgot there are two halves to a football game.

It makes you almost hate having a big lead. It's like Mooney basketball when the Spiders are up 10-15 points in the second half and then, instead of doing whatever you did to get the lead in the first place, you let the air out of the ball and try to run the clock. How many have that sense of dread when you can just feel it coming? I certainly had it last night after Fuller dropped a perfect pass in the endzone, Lawson missed an easy field goal, and somebody else (Feesler?) dropped a sure pick 6. All late in the game. They need to bring in Eric Ward and let him teach a class on "fearless confidence". Our flagship programs need to instill WINNING ATTITUDES, starting with the school president, athletic director, and head coaches.

I try not to post negatives here, however I was completely dismayed that after the Yale TD with 1:20 left, I saw several players laughing and playing around on the sideline. If the players do not take this seriously, why should we bother. I think the coaches have lost control of the team.

You apparently have a vision problem. Or perhaps it's your memory. Either way, who are you to certify?
The point is that people do not post political comments on other than the OT forum. Why do you struggle to understand that? Could it be a political bias?

Maybe be a member more than a month before disparaging others.
I didn't know that time-in-grade was a prerequisite for rendering an opinion. Could you please point me to the authority for your absurd statement? And, while you're at it, please tell me when I might be able to post a statement regarding your asinine assertion. Oh, wait. Nevermind.
