USNews&World ranks UR 32nd :Forbes has UR ranked at 99th

Our new president stated that UR should be ranked much higher and this was something he was going to work on.

I hope that this is a top priority for President Crutcher. As a student at UR, I want my school to excel in every sense of the word. However, among athletics, the arts, etc. academics is what I take pride in the most. I would love to see more than anything else, Richmond climbing the national rankings for top colleges. Top 100 is very good. Especially given the fact that there are over 2,000 four year undergraduate programs in this country. However, I looked it up and on Forbes and we were #73 in 2012, #88 in 2013, #96 in 2014, and now #99 in 2015. I don't know why we have been decreasing, since our admission standards has only gotten more competitive. However, I'm hoping we make an effort to climb back up.

I'm not liking this downward trend. I hope the administration is working hard to try and turn it back around
