What a difference a year makes! Could be better, but not going to complain after last season's slate.

Agree with the above comments. Obviously a ton of roster movement over the next few months but there has to be 8-9 wins there. I guess the biggest question is whether an 8-4 CAAF team will ultimately be a playoff team in a 12-game season.

Maybe two road games where we could expect a loss, but otherwise not bad at all there. Getting all the good teams at home is a help.
Wood, it is a calendar thing under NCAA rules. Sorta like if the first new moon falls in the last week of August, FCS gets an extra season game. Not exactly, but equally bizarre (believe relates to number of Saturdays between Labor Day and some other point). SF will cast light on this no doubt.

Yes, it happens when there is an extra Saturday between Labor Day and Thanksgiving. 2024 and 2025 have it, and then not again until 2030 I believe.
Typically, FCS teams are limited to 11-game schedules but the 2024 and 2025 seasons will include a scheduling quirk that allows FCS teams to play a 12-game schedule.
