Sounds kind of crazy but UR would really benefit from trying to throw in a game against a team like Drake or another good mid major this year. Sort of like how BYU and Coastal Carolina decided to play each other in football on a whim earlier this fall. Find a week when both don’t have a game and make it happen.

Yeah, super crazy idea! How come our coaches didn't think of that! Like, we could schedule a good MVC team at a neutral site to try and boost our strength of schedule! This is brilliant!

So yeah, St. Joe's has a COVID issue and the Bona game is postponed, but the Hawks don't say that they're completely pausing at this point.

Dayton is still listed on the schedule on our website. Maybe they will split squad against GMU and us.

It's really important that we get our games made up against the top half of the A-10. Noah was not optimistic in his last podcast.

So our player became positive on 1/31. Any Hawk player that was a close contact of him on 1/26 must isolate until 2/8?

And under SLU protocol. Any Hawk player that is a close contact of their player that was a close contact of our player must as well.

Since VCU has been in the A10, the difference between the two schools is amazing. And when you factor they seem to get a new head coach every 2-3 years, it's shocking. Honestly, the only constant has been Mooney.

8 ranked teams played tonight. 5 of them lost to unranked teams. All too common this year.

La Salle moved up 12 spots to 169, but they need to get to 160 to be a Q3.

SLU dropped 14 spots to 53, which puts them…right behind us.

Bona edged up a couple of spots to 31, while VCU moved up 4 spots to 41.

We are all aware of the “havoc” defense, AKA hack and foul the sh*t out of the opponents knowing the refs won’t call it.

Im jealous, it’s a smart strategy. The Seahawks won a super bowl doing it

@plydogg we don't even hack and "foul" that much this season. Besides unforced turnovers, this is one of the more disciplined VCU teams I've seen. Since we don't have crowds, you can always hear Coach Rhoades yelling to not foul, and it definitely helps, the kids react instantly.
