this will be the 90th all time meeting between the teams...it's hard to believe but UR has finally passed the Keydets all time in the last few years...we now lead series 44-40-5...VMI last won in 1996...I think I remember suffering through that one...

but "hope springs eternal" in Lexington...a new head coach has arrived and their pretty tough QB returns...still, the Spiders should be large favorites in the home opener...
