Have to pull for the players .....tough season for us as fans is nothing compared to how the players feel.......that is why I pull for them to win every game........won't know until the final buzzer sounds and under no illusion....but want a win.................

Its a tough situation but unfortunately they will keep having that feeling until we get a new coach in there. Winning a big one on the road against Saint Louis doesn't help them get a new coach.

I might guard Bess, but I am not a 1.2 million coach. What do I know.

Also, we might want a sub this half. Also, Cayo needs to stop playing like a lace doily this half. Also, Noah Yates needs to never shoot.

Obvious Mooney hasn't worked on attacking the press in practice. Embarassing.

I know this is a big win for the kids but it really isn't good for the program long term. We have seen this movie before with Mooney, team struggles for a while then gets a big win and that is enough to justify Mooney staying. Unfortunately this win I don't think helps us. If we keep winning all that does is give Hardt a reason to keep Mooney and see what happens with Blake Francis and Sherod coming back. We all know that if that is the case that we will just be let down by this team again next year and the cycle starts all over again.

WTF were Wojcik and Cayo and Golden doing down the stretch? Seriously.

I am 100% certain Cayo did not do that last inbounds play according to the plan. Or maybe the last resort was throw it high to Golden, and Golden stood and watched it.

I want to start off by saying congrats to the players. I hope they enjoy the win against a tough St. Louis team at their place. First half was great basketball and Spiders looked good most of the game.

But man, even as I type this I still feel - even with 12 point lead with 2 minutes to go - that we never quite had this game in the bag. We were a Wojcik block (great no call) and a Bess 3 point shot hitting the rim at the buzzer from having the biggest collapse I have ever seen in my life. Even when we win, it still feels like we lose. The way we handled the last 2 minutes is all coaching. I hope Hardt doesn't just see the score line, but how it happened. We were out rebounded again and couldn't adjust to the press at the end.

Still, I hope our guys enjoy this win. They absolutely deserves this. But in no way did this game even remotely move the needle from Mooney's hot seat. We shouldn't even be questioning losing when up 12 with 2 minutes left and we were a few inches (Wojcik block and Bess 3 point shot at buzzer) from the biggest collapse I have ever seen.

Good for the guys to experience a win.

Two really terrible, god awful coaches going after it tonight. SLU with 0 offense and zero ability to make a shot, BUT our defense so soft and they were literally waltzing in for offensive rebounds. No will to keep guys in front of the dribble or rebounding. Chris Mack would literally have lost his mind with our defensive effort. Like someone said, congrats guys - Leave Moon in St. Louis.

Out rebounded (expected)
Out coached in the 2nd half (expected)
Out hustled (expected)
Collapse with the press (unexpected for me)

Golden and Gilyard the best two players on the court, Cayo clearly belongs, and then such an incredible drop off that we can’t even go 6 deep, has to be incredibly frustrating... got to be a change.
