As long as we keep playing teams in the bottom third of the conference we’re ok. Playing well…..so far

You really do wonder at what point the big money donors realize that having guaranteed access to a losing problem really isn’t much fun and doesn’t have to cost so much money. We could pay Peter Thomas have as much and likely get the exact same outcome. Of course, who knows how much dead money we have on the contract.

As of now we are 15th in the A-10...........and have the worse league record at 3-8 and worse overall record at 8-16
Same pattern over and over again. If games ended after the first half, we'd be respectable. Unfortunately, they don't.
I will say that Hunt could have made a difference in this game, especially in the last 5 minutes.
AP has got to learn to use the backboard when driving in for a layup. He and Tyne both are energizer bunnies
at times without any control. Tyne did play one of his better games.

Is this the first time in Mooney's career he will finish last if this continues? If so, after 20 years he's getting worse instead of better?
so the guard play was better today but that’s sort of a low bar considering how bad it’s been since delonnie went out. 2-8 from 3 btw white and Tyne ain’t gonna get it done.
Thought soulis and Walz looked ok. Neskovic was super inefficient on offense. Roumoglou was pretty dreadful. Roche started out hot and absolutely disappeared in the 2nd half. We just don’t get much from our small forward position.
Zero identity. High volume 3pt shooters who are Not good at shooting. Not terribly good at defending. Poor rebounders in general. I guess we don’t turn the ball over much? Not even sure about that one.
This game didn’t even help the “most losses by 7pts or less” storyline.

I don't root for Richmond to lose, but if losing all of our remaining games gets rid of Mooney, I'm all for it. With apologies to the players...
This game couldn't have gone more exactly to script for this season.
I always feel for the players….but at some point in time UR needs to decide are we going to be a solid basketball program or not…..if losing gets the ship righted that’s what is best.
Didn't know who we were playing or what time today. Glad I didn't waste my time once I did find out.

same here, I thought the game was later and was surprised to see that it was already over when I went to look at scores 😂 . Didn't miss much of course.
I think many people struggle with this, I know I do. Of course the problem is that it seems unlikely that anything short of a scandal would force URs hand.
The two D2 wins are going to unfortunately buoy the overall results. Smart scheduling by CM and his staff as those could mean the difference between single digit or double digit wins this year.
And yet they don't actually count. So let's make sure we don't count them.
Oh I agree but try telling that to anyone who shows the teams record.
Gone are the days when I would count the hours down until our next game. Now I either forget we're playing or (even worse) I know we're playing and don't bother to watch.

3 years ago - understand the sentiment and close to feeling the same way now but 3 years ago was amazing ?
Not if it was before the tournament year when we had best class ever and went 14-9 en route to the NIT.
