Burton trying to singlehandedly will us forward on defense.
Agree 2k. Really lackluster all year. No fire. Hopefully that changes in last 3:36 of this one.
The refs have let em play. Neither team in the penalty with a min to go
If we win it’s all Burton tonight. Flat carried us with effort and performance.
I can't believe we're going to escape with this one. Strong last four minutes.
Phew! Nice effort down the stretch to pull this one out.
Defense is so much better when we are putting pressure on the other team. That changed the game.
Burton turned up the intensity and a few followed. We somehow found some defense in the last 4-5 minutes
Burton made the difference today - hoping to see more of those games.

Yeah Mooney had quick recovery although the announcer didn't.
Great effort during end of game stretch. Didn't let 2nd chance points disadvantage be a reason for a loss. Only worry from a WIN is only 21 minutes from the bench.*
*While typing Mooney just mentioned not having Sherrod, Gust, or Crabtree available. Honestly I think he should stop the not having Sherrod talk, but no doubt not having the other two definitely legit reason only using subs for 21 minutes. Good job coach!

solid W for being without Goose and Crab. This certainly won't cut it against the heavy hitters of the A10 though..
Anyone else noticed how on these national broadcast, the first half the announcers talk all about Gilly (and to a lesser extent Grant) and by the time second half comes to a close, it is Burton, Burton, Burton.
We should have had a awesome bench for once this year and are now left with almost nothing. The boys shot well, made their free throws, didn’t turn the ball over and rebounded barely enough. That’s about the best we can do with what we have left.
Still desperately need to work on preventing dribble penetration. A lot of our defensive and rebounding issues stem from being unable to stop dribble drives. But gutsy win. Burton was incredible
Grant had a real nice game but Burton was obviously the player of the game. 18 points, 11 rebounds. His steal and deflection in back to back Davidson inbounds turned the tide. Can't believe Mooney cited Grant's play and not Burton. Likewise that Grant was interviewed after the game and not Tyler.
Grace has looked very overmatched the last two games. I hope Mooney continues to use Sal to give Mooney and Cayo blows. Sal can move his feet and handle the ball. Just would love to see him dunk once for the heck of it. Ala Tomahawk Burton. Without Tyler's rebounding we lose that game.
Solid effort by the Spiders starters tonight. Not sure if everyone watch the same game I did based on the comments. Grant Golden was terrific, Tyler Burton is a man among boys, Cayo 6 for 9 shooting, Frances 6 for 12. This team just didn't want to lose. Great intensity to end the game against a solid Davidson team on the road. Go Spiders!
