Hope for the ladies to go on a huge run. Then Hardt only has one big change to make this year.
Had a beer with (unbeknownst to me at the time) a friend of Shafer's. I don't follow WBB much but he volunteered quite a bit and has apparently talked to him recently. He is not a Spider so I assume he heard the following from Coach S. Some of the key phrases:
"Sweating bullets."
"New AD wants to make his mark."
"Bummed because the transfer sitting out plus the highly-recruited girl from Trinity are really good."
Not editorializing, just passing it along.
I think...”Fat Man Dancing in Sprinkler.”The only way either one of them should have a chance of returning is if they win the A10 tourney. Our AD can put his complex highs and lows matrix away. What do you think Hardt?

I believe it is Coach Money. He is not too good at the other parts of his job, but as K reminds us, he is quite good at cashing is 100K monthly check he gets to be bad at his job.Coach Moaning and Coach Shayfur?
Stiffler is on a little bit of winning streak right now.It looks like coach Chauffer is due, no? We wouldn't want to risk losing out on our turn. What is the saying, a broken 12H clock is correct two times on each day?
Told ya. I watched while flipping back and forth to history channel. Our girls look like no one taught them proper shooting motion or passing skills. It was embarrassing looking at the difference in their first 10 and ours. They were more skilled, quicker and more athletic.so much for the perfect weekend
At least only one of our basketball programs had to play this weekend.so much for the perfect weekend
Also, we were told by Acting AD Hale a few years ago that we "had" to extend Mooney, otherwise he would be hampered in recruiting by not having a 4 year deal. If that was the case, why is Shafler operating on an expiring contract. The scary thing is how many times Schaueffer must have gotten extensions to get to this point despite never winning anything. Mooney got a 10-year deal, which explains why he's still here. I doubt Shaffeure ever got longer than a five-year deal. And he's also in year 14. Amazing.

When he was extended in summer before the 17-18 season he already had 4 seasons left on deal. 17-18, 18-19, 19-20, 20-21. We gave him a 5th at that time. Pretty absurd on multiple levels. One that we'd add a 5th year to a guy with plenty of security already and two, that we'd make such a decision in the vacuum between AD's. Then we hire Jabba the Hardt for a retirement gig who does nothing. Sorry he hired Joe Lunardi as a scheduling consultant. Game changer.
I like it! He does remind me of the Jabba in Star Wars! Just like Greenberg, former VT HC, reminds me of Uncle Fester. All he needs is a glowing lightbulb in his mouth!"Jabba the Hardt?"
Seriously?

Wait a minute here, I feel like I coined the name. Someone go search it on spidernation.com. It did catch on quite well on here. I easily could have swiped it and taken credit too."Jabba the Hardt?"
Seriously?
Assuming Shafer gets cut after the season,UR needs to hang on to these recruits.

Is her dad Walt Prillaman, who played football at UR?Would love to see the coach that brought them to Trinity, Anna Prillaman on staff in some capacity. Former UVA standout, amazing athlete and a hell of a coach.
