IIRC she did tell me her dad did play football at UR when I worked with her.Is her dad Walt Prillaman, who played football at UR?
Yes, but only the men’s BB job though. What a marketing coup that would be for Richmond l.Anyone think Nancy Lieberman would be interested in this should it open? Obviously overqualified but would be interesting.

Agreed, but I would love to have Nancy as the head coach and TJ as assistant head coach.Realistically Mooney is coming back if im placing bets on it. I have my doubts she would follow in his path since she such a huge fan of him but I know nothing. This position is far more likely to be open. I dont think shed take it either, but wouldnt mind it one bit.
Does anyone know when there might be an announcement regarding the future of Shafer...or if there will even be an announcement?
I suspect we may just need to show up at the first game of the season in November to see who the coach is.Does anyone know when there might be an announcement regarding the future of Shafer...or if there will even be an announcement?
That’s a way to create some serious marketing buzz.I suspect we may just need to show up at the first game of the season in November to see who the coach is.
The 7 women’s BBall fans don’t even care. That’s a way to create some serious marketing buzz.
“WHO WILL IT BE??? Find out on November XX!”
I dont understand this rationale. Sorry. She has never coached a mens college bball team before. There is nothing that suggests she would b successful at it, whereas there are many experienced bball coaches w proven track records. Hiring her as coach would be very risky to say the least.Agreed, but I would love to have Nancy as the head coach and TJ as assistant head coach.

She's coached an NBA D-League team, been an assistant for the Sacramento Kings and just won a title in the 3-on-3 league of recently retired NBA players, so I think she'd be highly capable.I dont understand this rationale. Shafer announcement may take place after all A10 BB tournaments are done.
I cannot fathom that nothing less than a firing will take place since someone
said this is last year of his contract.
that is my thinking, the announcement will mutually agreed upon wording: Coach Schiffer has decided to pursue other opportunities. If this truly is his last year, they could simply not renew the contract and let it expire.
holy crap, I agree with father!I dont understand this rationale. Sorry. She has never coached a mens college bball team before. There is nothing that suggests she would b successful at it, whereas there are many experienced bball coaches w proven track records. Hiring her as coach would be very risky to say the least.
So with a situation where they’re just not renewing his contract, do you think they just change the locks so he can’t get into his office any longer?
Should I expect to see Coach S down in the equipment room behind his desk with a red stapler?"It was a mistake in payroll"
