I thought we were already pretty deep in the defensive backfield but now we're even more deep. Welcome aboard!

MO, listen to a lot of TEXANS talk down here and one consensus is, you cannot have enough defensive backs. know that is the nfl but think it applies to all levels. to me, defensive backs are typically your best athletes so can be used on special teams too. great to have them and am sure they are here this summer meeting the rest of the team and working out and getting comfortable on campus as well.

I saw on Rivals that Johnson from U T had 22 offers , all from BCS schools. We never have had a prospect like that before.

Also a transfer, but Aaron Corp was an ESPN top 100 prospect coming out of high school.

Very happy we picked up some depth here. Never easy defending the likes of UNH so we can use all the athletes we can get in the secondary.

Johnson ran a 4.5 in high school.Not sure he will only play DB.

Agree with 32Counter, I doubt we see these two just playing DB. Both could also play the Bandit position that Roane was so good at...
