Now that we are going with the white helmets and red spider, have we ditched the blue helmets to the dust bin of history?

Speaking of historical dust bins, I'd love to see UR reinstate "General Spidey" by having him on our helmets!

Better yet, have General Spidey on one side of the helmet and the third national flag of The Confederate States of America on the other side!

Your thread title worked...I clicked on the link. Then your first sentence made me think about how much I miss the blue helmets. I really hope the blue helmets haven't been stuffed in a storage locker until the end of time.

White helmets are OK but I really like the blue helmets. All blue for home games is a great look and was our scheme during the National Championship season.

It really doesn't matter what we like -- we are not wearing them. You can look great and play poorly -- I doubt the helmets contribute much to the outcomes of the games unless they are better fitting???

I think that WebSpinner now owns the rights to General Spidey so we would need to get his permission were we to decide to replace the Spider with General Spidey. While on the topic, what do you make of the military uniform that General Spidey wears? Spinner has denied that it represents the uniform of the CSA. What say you, FRS?

I realize there's no way Gen. Spidey and a CSA flag will appear on the helmets. Now as for the picture of Mrs. FRS on the helmet .It

I think it would be 27 different combos. Now if you add the alt helmet with FRS' vixen of a wife, the possibilities grow exponentially.

I like the idea. Current uniforms are nice. Really looked good at the hook.

they looked pretty sharp in person., they give you the impression this is a no nosense bunch professional, straight to business, plus white implies speed. ie Billy White shoes Johnson.

Check out the link I put in the first post. It was a concept that a former intern put together for the department. Probably a pipe dream.

Those are pretty good. I especially like the webs on the pants.

I really liked the red shoulder squares on our unis at UVA. Probably the best-looking uniforms I have ever seen us in. That was a nice touch.

All are catchy and make for some nice combinations. But really, all that matters is what is inside the uniforms, and I like that set the most.
