As soon as they take Gilly out, LBJ drives right to the hoop and scores... Coincidence? I think not.
Sitting Gilly in the fourth so the bench guys can get some experience. 🤣
As a starter, Gilyard is averaging ~26 minutes, 9.7 points (100% from 2, 45% from 3), 4 rebounds, 2 steals, 4 assists, 1 turnover. Not bad.
It's definitely helping Gilly's shot at an NBA career to be playing behind so many injury/trouble prone guards. So happy to see him making the most of this opportunity.

Hit him in the hands that were directly in front of his chest! Plenty of time on shot clock. Maybe they ruled Lebron got a fingertip on the pass. tho it looked he missed it and just distracted him.
Reminds me of a super bowl prop I once lost bc a WR dove for a terrible pass and bc he got a fingertip on it, was credited with a drop. Illogical scoring mechanisms.

In addition to still being 7th in the league in A/TO ratio after that TO he was charged with that clearly wasn't his fault, Gilly is also 10th in 3PT% at 48.0%. He's 17 spots ahead of Steph.

Memphis has some real roster decisions to make. Biyimbo is needed bc Adams is done. It would be a good move to move Adams in a trade, his contract expires after next season and zero guarantee he’ll be back in form next year after such a huge layoff.
Memphis is basically toast with the competitiveness of f the West, their ceiling is prob road team in a play in round. Brutal schedule upcoming too.
Point of this post is that while I’d love Gilly to get a full contract the shape Memphis roster is in hamstrings them at present.

Rose listed as questionable on NBA injury report so as of now Gilly not included in player props. Vegas obviously will know and adjust as the day goes on and Memphis makes a further update.
Pretty sure photographers are drooling over the prospect of a picture of Gilly and 7'4" Wembanyana together.

Yeah, the Grizz were getting destroyed with the Spurs' size and racking up fouls all over the place. Gilly had a quick 3 fouls in his 12 minutes. Swapping in Aldama to start the second helped, and the Grizz have turned a 19-point deficit into an 11-point lead.

makes sense, I was sporadically following the pbp online and early on it did not seem to be going well for Memphis. Sochan plays point for SAS and he's 6'8" and is a guy who posts up, so not exactly a great fit for Memphis to go small. Gilly did go 1-2 from 3 and did not turn the ball over. Glad Gilly got another win tho, take em all no matter how many minutes played.
Rose is sitting out tonight, but the Grizz are again going bigger against the Celtics, so Gilly isn't starting.

Tight game coming down the stretch. Still just the one triple for Gilly, but he's up to 5 dimes and 2 steals.

That must be Lofton. I was watching in the preseason, and asking my sons who that rather large guard was. I was thinking he was much smaller, but might have been thinking of his dad.
