The announcer saying “this is a team that can be dangerous” about us as we try to overcome a 15 point difference is just peak comedy and having no idea what you’re talking about

Moonie has the drive to get his 20 wins the same way that other coaches want to win a national championship.
Does this team get stoned before every game? It sure plays that way.
Despite how poorly we’ve played we will probably pull out a close win tonight. Not because we are good but because Rhode Island can’t shoot and will have a bunch of turnovers down the stretch. We will hit a few shots…just based on the law of averages. URI should just keep pounding us on the boards. Regardless, VCU will not be so kind with unforced errors, etc tomorrow night.
Trust me, it REALLY helps when watching our games this season
we had 5 points in the first ten minutes. how is that a dangerous team? URI is choking on it. The game should be over.

for a team that doesn't rebound because "we want to get back on defense" we sure do suck at transition defense
Never underestimate how bad the bad teams in the A-10 are. Trust me, it’s not because we are good. URI is going to make a bunch of mistakes here. Just depends on how many fts we miss and how many offensive putbacks they get. They aren’t going to start raining 3’s on us.
URI is not really that good. They have flashes here and there, but they’re not stomping on any throats. Still time for Mooney to stumble and bumble into a victory.
I hear you. But I was thinking take the lead and hold it. I guess that's two steps. Uh, oh.
Ours or the Rhode Island guys who are afraid to even shoot? Our veteran team gets no kudos from me for this great comeback after the first 36 minutes they slogged through tonight.
This feels like an instant replay of the last game between us. URI rolls most of the game, but completely crumbles when we start to press.
Both teams trying to throw the game away. Announcer says”Gilyard looks at coach Mooney for a play”. And The play is Gilyard throwing up a 25 footer. Lol

We go down huge against nearly every team we play and as long as it’s another horrible team like URI we can come back and win otherwise we have no chance. 20 win season will be considered a success, Teflon Moon gets an extension to start recruiting the second greatest class ever. The beat goes on.
