Georgia Tech seems to think highly of Hans; decision due this week.

Well that stinks if Hans has narrowed it down to Iowa State and Georgia Tech. Not sure if this is right or if it leaves out some teams...

I agree, but it was the only article I could find from the last few hours.Suspect that is inaccurate.
fan1, hope you are hearing that Hans will become a Spider.not consistent with what I'm hearing
Considering we were in a one bid CAA league during the tenures versus the multi-bid much higher profile A-10 league now, that is not really a fair comparison. Also, there were no grad transfers back than. We did seem to have a lot of great transfer from BCS programs under them though (Kass Weaver, Kinte Smith, Tony Dobbins, Greg Stevenson) are a few that pop off my head. How did Dick or Beilein do w/ competing offers from p5?
Iowa State poster claims Princeton hoops tweeted and then immediately deleted that Hans is headed there. I suspect it's fake, as there is no evidence anyone else on Twitter saw the tweet.

Yeah, although the somewhat unusual thing about this situation is that he can't play for Princeton next year even if he wanted to, so it's not like he's spurning the Tigers in heading elsewhere.Yeah no way. Never seen a team announce a player's transfer destination
I'm 90% sure it's a fake. Not exactly encouraging. Let's hope they had four of those ready to go and someone accidentally tweeted out the wrong one.
Someone really went to a lot of trouble to fake it, if so. Hope that is the case though!
I like the guy with over 500 posts on their board who replied "How long did it take for you to make this?"Iowa State poster claims Princeton hoops tweeted and then immediately deleted that Hans is headed there. I suspect it's fake, as there is no evidence anyone else on Twitter saw the tweet.

Was the plan to hope Hans would forget he hadn't made a decision yet, and think he had already committed?Someone really went to a lot of trouble to fake it, if so. Hope that is the case though!
Agree. Brase was the piece that could have propelled the Spiders back to the NCAA. REALLY hurts unless there is another option that we don't know about.I thought it seemed too legit to be a fake that someone designed. This is a huge blow to us.
I wouldn't put anything past that buffoon. Here's to hoping...wishful thinking, but maybe Rothstein's "source" was that possibly fake twitter post?
Agreed. Hopefully, this is not true but the writing has been on the wall for weeks now when he was taking his tour around the country that he was not sold on his offer here.Agree. Brase was the piece that could have propelled the Spiders back to the NCAA. REALLY hurts unless there is another option that we don't know about.
Is something going on with the twitter timeline?
If you're not logged into Twitter, it will show in Pacific time.Is something going on with the twitter timeline?
Both this tweet and Rothstein's not appear to be 3 hours earlier.
well, the ESPN grad transfer list doesn't show much interesting in the big guy category. pretty sure there won't be a comparable replacement to Hans.Agreed. Hopefully, this is not true but the writing has been on the wall for weeks now when he was taking his tour around the country that he was not sold on his offer here.
If he is indeed going to Iowa State, what is our plan now?
Thanks, I must have checked the same tweet on different devices. If you're not logged into Twitter, it will show in Pacific time.
Yep. Hope we can find someone to fill out the front court. If not, Joe Kirby, it appears to be your lucky day again. This blows
sure, someone. just not a guy that can help. look at the list. can't add a good grad transfer big man if there aren't any. You'd think "Hey, we are an Atlantic 10 program that finished third last year and we need a starting 4/5: Are you interested in starting and playing major minutes for a good team?" would be enough to convince SOMEONE to take a flyer.
There was one, with more potential ties to our program than anyone we've recruited in recent memory, and we failed. But, par for the course. Maybe this is another year that we will lament having been "just one player away."sure, someone. just not a guy that can help. look at the list. can't add a good grad transfer big man if there aren't any.
