Here is where Terry Allen ranks compared to all A10 players in some raw statistics.

Points per game: 2nd
Rebounds per game: 4th
FG%: 7th
FT%: 11th
Assists per game: 16th
Steals per game: 6th
Blocks per game: 17th

I think he is doing pretty well so far.

Terry Allen was awesome last night vs Cal. He scored inside and out, rebounded extremely well and was clutch at the FT line down the stretch when the game was on the line. Great job by Terry and Spiders to pull upset.

Six consecutive free throws in the last 20 seconds is as clutch as you can get. 27-33 free throws in two games is amazing. I don't think it's too early for our new marketing guy to start a Terry Allen for All-American campaign. This is not a joke.

I totally agree SRick..... He is well deserving!!

I think Terry Allen may have made some money last night. Pros have to be watching him very hard. He will only get better and better. Shame he didn't bloom sooner, but better late than never like some.

Terry seems to have the consistency this year that was missing last year when he would dominate one game and disappear the next. I hope he keeps it up. I also hope his teammates make sure he touches the ball every time on offense.

terrific college player, without a spot in the NBA though imho. he's a low post player without the size to play that game in the NBA. he'll need to extend and will get a chance to do that in Europe. for now, focus on being a great college player

I didn't know if somebody on Dayton might get it if they win today only because they would have three wins in a week

I’ve been watching Spider basketball for over 50 years, starting with the Arena, and I got to say that TA’s performance against Cal was one of the best, if not the best, that I have ever seen out of a Spider. He just would not let the team lose.

Amen Vienna was an awesome display. Hope he can bottle it up we'll need more of it, starting tomorrow.

Still putting up great numbers and will be greatly disappointed if (when) TA doesn't get to play a game in the Tourny. K0 was tough last year but TA will be tougher being 2 years in row.

Only way we're going to finish .500 in league is if Terry gets alot more selfish on the offensive end.

Terry's chances of going in the 2nd round of the draft will be diminished greatly because of our overall record. That's the shame of it.
Bull. The NBA is cold blooded. Makes no differences whom you play for, how many letters in your last name, or the birthdate of your mother. They will take the players whom they think will further the success their franchise. OSC

We are making it tough on him and also the A-10 has been so weak the past 2 years, no one is watching. That being said, the NBA knows about and will evaluate anyone that's 6'8" with his ability. He will get plenty of chances to see if he belongs, which I think he does. I agree with Ulla, I have never heard of half the guys in the NBA and I watch a lot of basketball. They will find you if you are good enough.

Excluding overseas guys whose surnames are unpronounceable, how many guys from sub .500 mid major college teams were drafted in the last few years.?

There have been a number of NBA scouts see TA this season. I have spoken to one that knew quite a bit about his game (and at that point had not seen TA in person, but planned to do so).

I generally agree that Terry is just not athletic enough to play in the nba. However, he does have some skills that would transfer well to the pro game. His mid range jumper he can hit with a man in his face, his ball handling ability for a 6'8 guy and ability to use both hands to score. Very appealing particularly to the European pro leagues.

KB Tirana of the Albanian Basketball League is the most successful of all teams.Their
cheerleaders are the best and most creative and have uniforms that resemble the USC cheerleaders,if you know what I mean....Their games are usually sold out with terrific beer sales although each pint is priced double the price of game admission which is obviously a loss leader.
