Rocco mentioned in connection with UD job

lets all remember the real Delaware;
**UD was one of the first to charge for premium seating in our conference. they ran off long time supporters who could not afford the exorbitant cost
**they fire a proven winner in KCK
**they fire their coach a few weeks before our game. danny seems puzzled as he mentions this in his press conference
**remember the game played at city stadium......UD's field was unplayable,so we hosted what was their home game.they wore blue; we were in all white. they brought their band and own announcer
**UD still plays in antiquated stadium, where in the mens room you still piss on the floor

Amen, brother. Swamps need to be drained, walls need to be built and Gill and that dopey professor that posts the concussion articles here need their asses locked up.

Make Richmond Football Great Again.
I think it's more than just the football program, it's the whole University. I hear stories from my dad and his buddies about what UR used to be like and they make it sound like it was animal house on steroids. A big problem is that they made it too hard for alumni's kids like me to get in and instead I and many others go to Tech or other state schools. They need to bring down the admissions standards maybe a little because kids like me could help make this school what it used to be like.

Yes. Delaware definitely is not lacking warts.

On the Tuesday after Brock got canned, Danny told me on the way out of outback that he was 'very surprised and disappointed' that UD pulled the plug on Brock midseason.

BTW, they announced this week that they were scrapping the donation policy for seats. This cannot help their overall donations this year, at least.

I just wish I could run this program. I would have it in a much better place than it is now. I would not stand for any of this PC BS.

Yeah!
"Our season is over" after JMU loss.
"Should we accept a bid?" after W&M.
"We should hire my high school coach."
"I tweet-stalked that mean ol' Delaware reporter for doing his job."
"Help me register for gohens so I can......?"

Ahh, the glory days. Yeah, we partied hard, and our football team sucked. Let's go back to that.
We should adopt the admissions standards of a safety school.

The Hokies don't kick off until 8 tomorrow. You started your tailgating a little early.

Wouldn't y'all rather have alumnus kids go to UR? Ones like me that grew up around the school and live it. It would be much better than all the people that are there now that have made it no fun.

The plane thought to be used by UD folks to make a brief stop at RIC last week flew down to Charleston yesterday and back to Delaware today. Possibly talking to Chadwell at Chaz So.

I don't believe any CAA schools offer the cost of attendance supplement for football. Most schools around our level are only offering them for basketball for now.

Liberty offers them for football, and I believe NDSU and North Dakota have started as well.

Even in basketball, our stipends are rather low.
The two ND U's do furnish the stipend allowed by the NCAA. A new concept that I see as a future problem for the FCS schools in many ways. Personally hate it.

I agree 100%. They should provide admission preference to children of alums. I also agree that we have lost something at UR, maybe a zest for life, all sacrificed for multicultural political correctness.

The cancers of multiculturalism and political correctness are slowly destroying UR

Bring back General Spidey and admit more Virginians!

Yes I would.

While we're at it, let's revert to excluding from admission persons of color --- Afro-Americans, of course, that goes without saying, but also Hispanics, Asians, Muslims, and Jews. By definition, they constitute the most substantial aspect of the reprehensible multiculturism of which you speak. And forget the federal money argument made by the liberal administrators we now employ. We all know that their argument does not hold water. We're a highly endowed private institution. We don't need any federal funding. In fact, we should reject it immediately, before it is stopped by the government because we certainly do not want it to look like they have even an iota of influence or power over us.

I mean, if we're going to do this thing, let's not do it half-assed. Let's get the word out now.
Let's also ensure that at least 80% of each class is Southern Baptist, at least 50% are from the West End, and that 90% come from Virginia. Let's preserve our noble traditions which are most prominently embodied in the likeness of General Spidey and his Confederate garb. His statue probably needs to replace that of Mr. Robins in the center of the campus.

FRS, you should have the honor of leading the movement to bring about these changes, though Stonewall D is worthy of consideration as well. You both seem fired up and consistent in your denouncement of what we have become and the destructive path we are on. I know that you are serious about your cause. And you should not delay. Take action now while the political climate favors the changes you desire. Strike while the iron is hot. It's your decision, of course, but I suggest that you start with a call for unity in a rally outside the President's home within the next week.

So what do you say? Are you going to remain all talk and no action or are you going to do something about the despicable state of our university, the cancerous multiculturism and PC which abounds in every facet of campus life and the unfair exclusion of children of alums based merely upon their lack of academic accomplishments?

Personally, I think every student should take courses in beer bong etiquette, including the proper use and techniques involved. Next, every student needs to be taught proper hand to eye coordination necessary for a good game of quarters. Finally, the administration should make changes to facilitate the integration of the most vulnerable population- freshman girls. In 1984, after the defeat of Auburn by our Spiders in the NCAA tournament, the entire male student body of Richmond College descinded on Lora Robbins dorm for the largest Panty Raid on the east coast. Lora Robbins dorm was an all freshman girl dorm at the time. It was an important moment in the history of our fine University. Talk about a zest for life. It was a sight to see. A mass of humanity running across the Commons, wall to wall guys on the path outside the Commons next to the lake yelling PANTY RAID. Many a freshman girl lost her under garments then. The place has gone to pot.

LMAO, this dude needs a safe place pronto.

It's called Pigmentation Array Aggregation.

Nice deflection. I took biochem and genetics too. Or maybe you just googled. So are you saying that Pigmentation Array Aggregation is how we should categorize people? Diversity by skin tone is inherently racist. How about diversity in thought, experience, or interest? True Diversity is in the individual not groups.

What do we do about all of the Black, Asian, Jewish, et al, alumni that we already have little i ?
Your obsession is at a level that needs counseling. I feel very sorry for you.

Not a deflection at all, and not a suggestion of anything. Nil. I was simply providing an answer to your apparent question as to the name for grouping by pigmentation. Thought you might want to know.

I did not suggest a manner of categorizing people by any criterion and am curious how you might have come to such a conclusion.

"Diversity by skin tone is inherently racist" seems a rather strange statement or a strange construction to a sentence referring to inherent racism. Did you mean that categorization by skin tone is inherently racist?
As to "true diversity," I am not familiar with that term though I know the meaning of both of its components.

Jesus, did you not get my blatantly obvious sarcasm?
Do you truly think that I would advance such preposterous changes?
I am beginning to agree with you that I do need some counseling, but it is not because of what I said, it is because of how it is being construed. It amazes me that people reading my post might think for an instant that I was serious.

I am guilty of failing into the trap of politicizing everything. My apologies to adding to it. This is all super silly. This a football board and we are all on the same team... the Spiders. I am moving on.

Not saying I should've gotten in to UR but I should've been given a better chance than I was. I didn't eve apply because I knew there was no chance and my dad told me I wouldn't have any fun there now with the way the school is now. It's a shame that kids like me have to go to other state schools over UR. That being said I love Tech and I went here for a major UR doesn't offer. Let's get over all this BS and enjoy tonight's win! How about that?!

Are we talking football here anymore? Understand we are all giddy, but back to the subject at hand...
