Yah - not an Eagles fan but was rooting for them. Grew up in GA and a fan of the team not be mentioned that choked 6 years ago.

I had posted, but it was still in my drafts - that as opposed to Mooney giving Bona unlimited practice at the RC, Dunphy was really going to a lot of trouble to keep Richmond from getting familiar with the sight lines, by staging a parade. Alas, not an issue. Maybe Dunphy will come up with something else. Also, we have 1 less excuse Wednesday. No shootaround disruption.
100% agree ..Eagle fan, Great game, it was a shame that everyone was robbed of a great ending by a game deciding officiating call. Eagles fans are bummed for sure but our team showed up on the biggest stage and has nothing to be ashamed about, someone had to lose that game where both teams brought their A games. Mahomes is the MVP for a reason, but I think everyone knows if they don't already that Hurts is elite.
Nothing of note really in JOCs morning RTD article about the injuries other than Quinn is also now in a boot - I will be surprised if he plays on Wed.Anyone heard anything about Bigelow and Quinn's injuries?
Bradberry held himself accountable, something wholly unfamiliar to BB and Mooney.Hope James Bradberry doesn’t listen to our radio shows. Expecting Philly Bob & Mooney to throw him under the bus.
Lol either way it’s an improvement. Philly is always vying with Trenton for armpit of the nation status. Philly usual takes the title.Glad LaSalle Tom Gola Arena is okay.
Philadelphians Preemptively Burn City Down In Preparation For Winning Or Losing Super Bowl
SPORTS·Feb 12, 2023 · BabylonBee.com
PHILADELPHIA, PA — To prepare for the aftermath of either winning or losing a football game, the citizens of Philadelphia have decided to pre-emptively raze the city to the ground.
"One way or the other it's going to burn," said local man Dylan Timms. "With Philly, you never have to wonder."
We need to get all these guys healthy in time to play Loyola in the tournament.Nothing of note really in JOCs morning RTD article about the injuries other than Quinn is also now in a boot - I will be surprised if he plays on Wed.
Glad both of these guys are not seriously injured and looks like they will be back soon.
With our horrendous road record, one wonders how lines could favor us away from RC.Spiders -1
Maybe they are looking at our record against teams from Philly this season? With our horrendous road record, one wonders how lines could favor us away from RC.
I would agree. We have a week off after this game, so need to rush either of these two back if they are not 100%, since we have our bye week after this game.I will be very curious as to whether either plays. My thought is neither, as it seems more important to be as healthy as possible for Brooklyn, opposed to trying to win this game at all cost. If either tells the coach and training staff they feel 100, then guess they would play.
For Mooney about March 15. He and the fam will probably be on a nice cruise somewhere warm about that time. Probably already have the tickets booked. When does the smooth sailing start, again?
just as soon as we stop having to play all these blasted games! When does the smooth sailing start, again?
Very true - especially with Bye coming up. I just worry though - if we don't win this one, I don't like our chances vs. SLU or VCU, and then going back on the road to play St. Joes - who is not good, but has beaten the bottom half of the league to a 7-6 record - we could be looking at 4 straight losses if we don't win this one.I will be very curious as to whether either plays. I mean, we could beat LaSalle by 50 and I would still not like our chances vs SLU or VCU 🤷♂️Very true - especially with Bye coming up. True, but both were in boots on Saturday, so think there is a difference between playing hurt and recovery from an injury. I hope they both play, but this game is relatively meaningless in the grand scheme of things, so having them fully recovered for the A-10 tournament should be a priority.100%?
no college basketball player is 100%. maybe in May.
if they're 70%, they'll play.
So we have had 7 A1-10 home games, if Friday night is part of the weekend then...Don't worry, everything is going great, as evidenced by the fact that our men's AND women's teams are a combined 18-6 at the Robins Center this year. Yay! Also, four sellouts*! Maybe 80sFan is actually Hardt. Here's "Hardt's" email from yesterday as it relates to basketball:
"I’d like to thank those of you who have given Spider Basketball such an incredible home-court advantage at the Robins Center this season. Our men’s and women’s teams are a combined 18-6 at home in 2022-23. Women’s Basketball registered a record-setting 119-55 home win over Longwood in non-conference play, and Men’s Basketball has played before four sellout crowds, including on January 7, when the team overcame a 22-point deficit to beat Duquesne, the biggest comeback win for the Spiders in the 21st century! I’ll echo Spiders star forward Tyler Burton, who was asked about the crowd in his postgame press conference and said: “We really appreciate it and we probably couldn’t have done it without you.” Spider Basketball in the Robins Center is a showcase for everything we love about Richmond Athletics**, and I’m glad so many of you have been a part of these special events this season."
*Definitely not sellouts
**We love being under .500?
