Lasalle game thread following Philly post Super Bowl depression ..

True, but both were in boots on Saturday, so think there is a difference between playing hurt and recovery from an injury. I hope they both play, but this game is relatively meaningless in the grand scheme of things, so having them fully recovered for the A-10 tournament should be a priority.

No idea if either play but game is far from meaningless, if we have any intentions on not playing an extra game Tuesday in A10, which absolutely should be a goal. And if we r shooting for top 9 seed Lasalle is must win considering they are 1 of the teams we r competing with for the top 9. St Joes and the Goo Moos r 2 others in similar spots we get. Think going 3-2 might do it with the tiebreakers. Lose tonight and realistically it's gone.

Could seeding be a factor for A10 tourney? We are currently 11th in A10, but really one 1 game seperates UR and the 5-6 teams ahead of us. But below is and 2 games back of us is Davidson and URI. Doesnt the bottom 6 play opening games?

Seems a little sad that the Top 4 we are playing for is Top 4 of the 6 teams with 6 or 7 losses...

Very true. It is important for seeding and I hope both guys can go, but the unique circumstances of the bye throw a bit of wrinkle in here. From what I know Bigelow might be more of a go. Think Quinn is an ankle, so those are easy to aggravate and make worse, plus Bigelow was injured the game prior so has had more time to heal.

Hello, all, it has been many years since my last post, but I'm back (been reading regularly, just not chiming in). I'll be at the LaSalle game tonight - my first time to "the Tom" (Tom Gola arena). This season has been a bit of a disappointment, but I'm looking for to seeing the Spiders in action (and going hoarse cheering them on).

Edit: my profile seems to suggest this is my second post (my most recent and "first" being in 2018), but I joined in 2005 and was a prolific poster until about 2012 when my first child was born. I've gotten divorced, remarried, and had two more kids since then, and dad mode has put a crimp in my internet blogging :p

Bob just said on the pregame radio show that Walz’s ankle sprain is severe and he’ll be out for a significant amount of time. JayNel also rolled his ankle and is out tonight, but it seems less severe. Tough news for two guys that need to get reps to end off the year.

Bigelow really needs to be more disciplined in his shot selection. His game is drives and cutbacks, not shooting, and he needs to play to his strength.
Triple Like

And I love his game btw. He should have a full on red stoplight outside the arc.
