I think we’ve reached the point where there is zero discussion happening here.

Unfortunately this is a very difficult topic and I think requires conversation from both sides to find solutions. I personally know I love watching football but also know I struggle watching college kids suffer life altering injuries. I also know that many of the kids playing at UR wouldn’t be there without football and many turn that opportunity into something that propels them further in life than they could have imagined. I’d like to think that I’m not the only one that has some personal struggles.

Good point, DTSpider, I agree with you. I think a lot of people agree with you. The main problem is that not enough is being done to make the game safer for hard working kids who look to adults for guidance and help:

oh no!...I usually read this message board sitting down...sometimes for what seems like hours...can't remember the last time I read it standing up...

Being forced to sit while taking exams could lead to long term injury. Were you ever allowed to stand while taking exams? If not, UR should be liable.
