Congrats to the Spiders for the win today. It is nice when our 2 top players have off nights shooting and we can still win. Our team played great defense holding them to 33% shooting, we had 8 blocks and 44 rebounds. Cayo had a very good second half on both ends of the court. Although Grant had a bad shooting night, he made it up with great passing, 11 rebounds and good defense. Over the past half dozen games he has really picked it on the defensive end. Jake had another solid game and so did Yates. I look forward to tomorrows game. Go Spiders!

Correct. VT could stand for a lot of things and it does not stand for Virginia Tech. Hard to believe anyone would care.

We did not play well against them at the Robin Center this year. Had a lot of difficulty with their Zone defense. Hopefully, we will make adjustments. U of R by 10.

BTW, is U of R getting its own Amtrak train car to get to the A10 Tournament like VCU? Obviously not, but it is a great marketing strategy for both Amtrak and VCU.

Getting back to the actual game, I will add that if you told me yesterday Grant and Jacob would shoot 6-28 combined I would say we would lose that game. Nice job by Cayo, Wojcik and Yates picking up the scoring slack just enough.
