But we have missed foul shots for years and years. Do you think its coincidence that we miss a lot of fouls shots every rear or get outrebounded every year etc. etc. His teams performance was far from fine. And it was as bad today as it was against Longwood on November 9th and as bad as it was against Delaware and Jacksonville State in November of 2017. Not every shot is on him - - I agree. But today wasn't just a day and days like this happen. It happens to his teams WAY, WAY too often.

I’ve talked before about how I see the rebounding, defensive, foul shooting, etc issues over and over. I am not pro-Mooney. But they out rebounded us by 1 today. I didn’t see any egregious mistakes today by Mooney. He was fine
Nathan's been great this year. it's pretty amazing how far he's come and what he accomplishes without a perimeter shot. he's very tough in traffic without being very big. thank goodness we have his inside game.
No kidding, and haven't most of these posters already said they are done about three or four times this year? They even started a threat about being done. Why are they still watching us anyway? Every tournament win is a good win. I don't care who you played or how you played. Survive and advance.
Grant only had 9 points, but 11 rebounds, 7 assists, a block, a steal and no TO's.
Our surviving ends tomorrow. We beat a god awful Fordham program by 2 in the play in game. Whoopee.
It was kind of funny listening to bob and beck calling this one and trying to describe how bad the basketball being played by both teams, I can’t imagine what this looked like in person.
he called time out to set up a play, apparently the play was gilyard shooting a extra long 3 pointer.... you know the guy who was really struggling to hit the back board much less the rim.....
AND remember this is his team.... he recruited all of them.... this finding excuses for CM is pathetic. we've paid him 1.3 million for years and beating the last place team by a bucket is ok?
How does Cayo foul there out of the timeout? Serious question, what does CM talk about in timeouts? The team looks worse out of timeouts. That damn near cost us the game. Inexcusable. It’s on coach to make sure his team knows the situation.
I say hire Beck to coach game tomorrow. Would have them moving 100% of the time and beat the zone they'll face again.
Because they love their school and pull for them in spite of the administration and coach. They're done with Mooney, to some extent the administration, but they're Spiders through and through. I don't find that too difficult to understand.

Ridiculous statement. I have posted praise and criticism this year. You guys have been on here with the same crap win or lose. Did not matter if we played well or not. At some point, 30 some games in, why not just once stop with the same posts over and over and maybe enjoy a win on a last second shot? A few of us on here are actually capable of posting the good with the bad. It is a shame many of you are not.
Yep. And too bad some of our fans don't have a place to go to talk about a last second win today. This is our main message board. It is 95% negative at all times, win or lose. It would be nice if it could at least be a little more positive after a win.
I’m glad we won. However, I saw nothing today or in the last month to make me think our program is getting any better. The board is negative because our coach has underperformed for nearly a decade! And the way we finished the season was a total disaster. Today’s game was bad. The team looked bad and CM coaching was horrific down the stretch. Good thing we payed Fordham. How do you not understand that VT?
Because we won. It is not like the board has been silent for a few months and now we are all talking about the bad season. We have heard the same crap every day, win or lose. Why is it so hard to understand that a win in the tourney is a good thing?
You are the absolute worst though, I'll give you that. A Mooney suck up above the team.
And tomorrow we will be done. Again, this is the play in game against the worst program in the league. We won by 2 and looked absolutely horrible in doing so. Had we played anyone of the Top 10 teams in our conference today we would have lost by double digits.
Apparently only vt is allowed an opinion even though it’s the same one over and over. Kinda like what he spouts off about.
