Golden was too passive in this game. If you’re going to be a star in this league then you have to play like one. Can’t pass up wide open shots all night and be an afterthought on offense.
For a program that’s supposed to be built on good shooting, we’re really not a team with good shooters.
Too bad be couldn’t beat these losers. Bona players are low class. And no foul called by the bald headed dope at the end. Just wow.
It's clearly on the shoulders of the players. We will lose to URI as well. We're too soft and whine like babies.
Best class ever shouldn’t be battling down to the wire with a 2-1 Bonnie’s team at home, missing ft’s, not boxing out, and praying for help from the refs but I digress. We aren’t a tournament team in my very poorly informed opinion.
For years I've railed against Mooney's lack of rebounding strategy and how soft we are inside. They killed us on inside domination. Many free shots and too many 2nd chance points - part of the Mooney System.
Golden killed us with lack of rebounding, scoring, defense and mainly missed free throws. Not all his fault, but he is supposed to be good.
On the bright side we did have one time out left.

we really really needed this one. They are a good team, we are down bodies, Burton was in foul trouble roughly the entire game, Golden shit the bed, the refs sucked. But we still really really needed this one 
Best class ever? I’ll take any team with J New over these guys. Could change my mind if they can get their shite together.
He touched nothing and Cayo got all ball. No Skin to be heard. Horrendous call from an atrocious angle. Period.
Here is the bottom line. You can’t be a great team when you are bad at two out three aspects of the game. And we are bad defensively and bad at rebounding. We are a skilled offensive team, but still
Need to shoot the three to be able to have our offense overcome those other weaknesses. And FT shooting is going to decide a lot of games for us. Both number of attempts we get and give and how well we shoot ‘em.
Right now, last year looks like the anomaly fir this group defensively and even rebounding where it didn’t cost us too much. Rebounding cost us this one with help from our defense and FT shooting.

Same ole song and dance from Mooney's teams. Poor rebounding and defense. Very predictable. Not surprised at the outcome.
True that bad officiating was a factor, but the loss is on us; not the refs.
We dont have enough scoring options. Gilly, how great of a stealer he is, is an offensive non entity and often a defensive liability.we really really needed this one. How do we have 4 1000 point scorers out there, and no scoring ability? It’s inconceivable!
Easy guys it’s a long year.... this by no means eliminates us from at large contention. I can’t believe people are already saying we have to win the tourney, that’s just silly. It’s a long year, and Bona is damn good. Maybe a top 3 team. Let’s just get the next one, and we know this team can get healthy and go on a run. Margin for error is smaller, but there plenty of easier games for us ahead.
Polly Anna thinking. Yes we may be at top third of the A10 but I don’t see much more than that and that won’t get us an at large bid..... get healthy....other than Gus who are you talking about? Believe me I hope I’m wrong but I wouldn’t bet on it

We look awesome on paper and when the shots are falling against the likes of Fordham and LaSalle life is good. Problem is when games get ugly and physical and our shots aren’t falling. Our beautiful game doesn’t help us get second chance points or keep opponents from getting easy put backs or dunks. It’s worth it though because we get a few gorgeous back door layups each game that make the regional tv announcers drool.
it doesn’t eliminate us from an at large bid, but we really don’t have much of a resume to hang our hats on at this juncture of the season.
Your rose colored glasses need a good cleaning. We are a decent basketball team but not really a contender. Rhody is licking their chops. Two straight losses at home. Come on man.
We are sorely missing Nick on offense...the outside shooting is just not there. We're now down to 33.6% from three on the year. Burton is shooting it well, but he's not our main shooter from out there. Blake at 34% and Gilly at 27% just ain't going to cut it.
