Mr. Tbone, sure there is a greater chance that he may decide to go to Duke or another school, but if we don't do all that we can to show him how much we want him here, then we would have lost out without even trying. His family value my opinion therefore it is worth a try. I would rather have tried and failed than not to have tried at all!!

VT, your humor is rarely funny the first time around, much less so the 4th or 5th. Didn't you give up the bball board? That lasted all of about 7 hours.
Ya I gave up on our bball team meaning I won't talk about anything team stare they or game related. I will talk about recruits because maybe it means we have a bright future but with Mooney I doubt it.

Ya I do. I know one of my teams isn't getting him so I can only hope my other team does.
Id like to see him go to either team but no way he goes to UR. Tech I think is actually a lot more likely than people realize.

Sorry, when was the last time VT got a top 50 recruit in basketball? Not in your lifetime.
It's a different time now. Buzz is an awesome coach and we are starting trend upward big time as a program. I believe Chris Clarke may have been a top 50 recruit for us a couple of years ago, at least top 100.

I am keeping my word. I'm not talking Spider basketball, I'm talking about a high level recruit. I haven't mentioned anything about our team in a while and believe me I have plenty of stuff I could say about the Spiders basketball program but I will refrain from doing so for a while.

Talked with a kid from his school. Actually, VT is 29. Late bloomer plus he had to repeat 4th grade three times as punishment because he got caught with weed in his possession three years in a row. You'd think he would have known better after two years with the same teacher, especially since she was the teacher who discovered the drug in his little backpack in his first attempt at mastering the 4th grade.
Has the distinction the of only kid with facial hair in 5th grade in the history of his school.
He and Frank Fritz share a lot in common, though Fritz went to school in the Mid-West and was age-appropriate. Both had 5 o'clock-shadow by afternoon recess in the 5th grade.
Fritz has now gone on to greater things. Great junk collector. Thinking that VT will find a similar calling, depending on how much his current vision may change.
