MD signed a local kid that was rated higher .That’s what happened. No knock on us or Jackson, just the way world of recruiting. My bet is if MD was looking at him as a Big 10 recruit, we have a great commit.

Found this in an article about his HS going undefeated last year while winning state championship. Wonder if he can talk his cornerback buddy into coming along.

The Firebirds also return wide receiver Donovan Higgins and cornerback Joshua Sims, both seniors. Higgins has offers from Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Memphis, Indiana and Arkansas State. Sims has a slew of offers from schools like Louisville, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Duke and Indiana.
