coming from the Big South conference with most of an offense that averaged over 30 points per game and a bushel basket of BCS/FBS transfers, it's hard to say how Campbell will fare in the CAA this season, but by the time they reach The Brick House for Homecoming on October 28 we should have a good idea what we'll be facing!

Camel's Head Coach Mike Minter says he'll field a team that is tough, smart, fast and physical...he calls the CAA "the SEC of FCS football"!...his Portal Transfers come from prominent programs from coast to coast...UCLA, VT, LSU, NC State, etc.

despite all this, the CAA preseason poll projects the Camels in 11th place...if Minter can meld the transfers with his returning players, Campbell could be one of the surprise teams in the CAA...it seems like every year at least one squad far exceeds expectations...Buies Creek will be rocking on August 31 when the Camels host defending CAA Champion W&M in their first ever CAA game...that should tell Minter a lot about how far the Camels have come, and how far they have to go!

October 28 will be Homecoming at Richmond...the Spiders certainly can't afford to let a bunch of Camels ruin the celebration...but it shouldn't surprise us if we get a battle!..

enjoy this special Homecoming edition of the Countdown...

Go Spiders!

Mojo, you out did yourself.

Analysis top shelf as we have grown to expect.
Video was fantastic.
Our stunningly beautiful (aka "leafy" to some) campus never gets old.
Kudos for capturing the audience without having to show your face. It worked. May be on to something there. 😉

If Camels eliminate mistakes they will be tough. Game with Indians ws closer than the score.
For the first half they gave the Tribe all they could handle. Agree about the mistakes the fumble on the W&M five then stopping W&M and fumbling the punt at the 13 was a gift TD for the Tribe and a 14-point swing. They made several more first game and haven't played together enough mistakes, as you mentioned that made the score look like a worse loss than it actually looked like as the game was played.

Been saying all summer if their transfers become a team they could be hard to handle.

Of course, the Tribe looked as good as I expected. Yoder is still a beast, and their other backs are excellent, not to mention the QB can throw it to a bunch of good WRx that catch it.

Rhode Island scored 35 tonight against an FBS Ga State and lost by only 7 and had the ball with a little over 4 minutes left to try and tie the game.

Many think that Coleman is finished for the year. I was at the game Saturday and Huesman definitely benched Coleman for that sling before halftime that almost cost us 7 points, we got away with only 3. Huesman was all over him after that play and when he came out of the locker room after halftime, he was dejected and looked like he knew he was being taught a lesson. Hope it causes some decline in slinging errant passes. We definitely need him to win these next three games and I fully expect him back this week against the Camels with a strong air attack 🏈🕷️🕸️
