Wisco was up 12 pretty late before giving up a 19-2 run. Also played w/o 2nd leading scorer who may be leaving the team. These guys r going to fall to the bubble when all is said and done imo. Unfortunately we'd rather have them as high as possible to be a marquee win. At least if we're on bubble and they are too we have that head to head win.

Wisco leading scorer in B10 play, and 2nd leading scoring overall on the season is transferring

If Duquesne wins at home vs LaSalle today, there is a 5 way tie for third in the A-10...

Among the tied teams:
VCU 2-0
Duquesne 1-0
St. Louis 1-1
St. Bonaventure 0-1
Richmond 0-2

We really should win out, but our 3 "must-win" games are pretty obvious.

I agree that winning out until Dayton is the best option. But this is the time of year you start having diverging interests.
If we lose one, do we want to avoid another Quad 3 loss for at-large, or avoid losing another tiebreaker for Brooklyn?

If spreads were determined today I would expect we would be:
+14 UMass(179)
+9 at Fordham(273)
+9 GMU(180)
+6 at GW(198)

+4 at LaSalle(162)
+4 Davidson(98)

+1 at SBU(126)
+1 VCU(36)
-1 at Duquesne(88)

I think we will know more the morning of the 13th...

I think you reversed your pluses and minuses. :)

I just want to win all the games. You raise a good point; if we suffer another bad loss, we may need to win the AQ.
2nd place is a reasonable goal. RI may fall back to the pack, but that's a pretty big pack - so we would probably need to finish with 3 wins against that group to give us some edges for a double-bye.

I think you are right, the team listed would get the points listed...

Looking at other teams likely spreads...
URI, SLU, Davidson & Duquesne all have a game as a double digit underdog against Dayton. Dayton is 4 point favorite at URI&VCU.
Strangest spread to me is SLU is 2 point favorite at GMU...

Is Vandy gonna take the golden sombrero 2 years in a row? They are well on their way.

Duquesne with an impressive win at SLU. I think this helps us? Maybe not. After all, the team we lost to at home just got clobbered at home.
Bonnies destroy GW.
McNeese down double digits to #315 TAM-CC
Vanderbilt leading LSU in the first half!!! They led KY in the first half, too, and that didn't amount to much.
Minnesota beating up on Wisconsin.

Yeah I think we want SLU behind us since they own the tiebreaker. We still get our crack at the Dukes later.

But if SLU stays worse than 75, they become a bad loss. It is a thin line.

But maybe Duquesne can become a Quad 1 win...

I don't think losing to a team ranked 80 or 90 is really a "bad" loss. Every bubble team is going to have a few of those. And every team loses some league games. I'm more concerned about beating Duquesne when the time comes, but we will cross that bridge when we get to it.

They are suppose to count a loss to #78 Oregon ST at home the same as #199 Sacramento ST at a neutral site.
What they will actually do...

We made a schedule to make CM look good and the suckers have fallen for it. Our team is no where as good as our record states... that is a fact. And that is what braceckJoe and others know as well. We have beaten no one, lost to garbage, and lost to conference teams at home. All this means is... Mooney extension. Lets all celebrate.

Just because those games are in the same Quad doesn't mean they're "supposed to do" anything of the sort.
