Harris doesn't appeal to union votes.
Most EVs will be made in China. All of the components, including batteries, will be made in China. We could dominate this sector, but environmental rules instituted by Biden prohibit it. This will cost Union votes in Michigan.Keep in mind the EVs don’t build themselves.
Oh yes and then there is Woodward’s new book about Orangeman’s ongoing relationship with Comrade Vladimir.
And then there is the felon himself….
Burning through fact checkers
such a lazy take.....not surprising..... Last I checked burton didn't play guard and it was obvious based on the fact that Jaynel portaled that we were in the market for guards..... King committed to Richmond in April, while Burton was still going through the NBA waters.... he was not pretty his senior year, but I do believe he was fist team all A10...It wasn't his fault that Jaynel sht his pants...Burton leaving was one of the biggest gifts Mooney could have received. He would have built last year's team around Burton and with him leaving, he was able to reconstruct, build it around King and win the A-10.
For JOC who makes his living off the never saying anything remotely controversial about UR hoops this is an even weirder statement to make. Maybe JOC felt that was a safe space to take make some "hot" take about UR, because it is about a former player and not about Mooney or leadership. Whatever it was, no one feels that way about TB and if JOC had the pulse on UR he would know that. Also, is anyone else a bit put off by JOC's wording here - "[Burton] was embraced - literally and figuratively - by many, many members of the Richmond community at this NIL fundraising event. That dispelled the notion he would forever be considered a disloyal outcast by UR stakeholders after graduating from the school and then using his final season of eligibility - his COVID year - at Villanova rather than Richmond."
Disloyal outcast??? That's a pretty extreme way to characterize a guy who gave us 4 solid years and took a chance to play HM-basketball for a lot of money using a year of eligibilty he only had due to a global pandemic. I don't think many, if any fans shared that "notion," and would be pretty disappointed if anyone involved with the program shared a similar sentiment with reporters. Maybe it's just JOC trying to make a story, but implying there was a chance we would turn our noses away at TB is pretty brazen.
yeah, that's weird. I'd never hold a grudge against a kid who graduated here and then left. Also, is anyone else a bit put off by JOC's wording here - "[Burton] was embraced - literally and figuratively - by many, many members of the Richmond community at this NIL fundraising event. That dispelled the notion he would forever be considered a disloyal outcast by UR stakeholders after graduating from the school and then using his final season of eligibility - his COVID year - at Villanova rather than Richmond."

if a kid is wanted by a P5 school, they're already offering more NIL than the A10 schools. and for the most part ... every kid transferring is going to the highest level program they're offered at ... which coincidentally has the highest NIL.I would be concerned a kid transferring from Wagner or Albany, where a good jump is from there to the A10, might now be lured to the P5 program because that school can just easily give them 50K or maybe 100K right away.
Agree. I think we keep hearing too much great shooter talk for him not to start and play good minutes. I am sticking with thinking Hunt, White, and GW3 will be the best starters in the backcourt. I love what I am hearing about Tyne too, so maybe he starts over White, but I am wanting Hunt, GW3, Dusan, Walz, and the next best fit (even if not White or Tyne) to be the main 5.Like to hear the hype about GW3. As we know, sometimes it doesn't play out - but sounds like he can be quite a shooter and love to hear he is a gym rat. That is a huge factor.
Not so sure about that. This gives the big boys more money to fill out rosters and take chances on transfers. Best players went to P5 before - yes they did, but that was mainly when recruiting HS kids. Now - best HS kids go to P5, but so do the best transfers. Now if the P5 have more money to spend - I would be concerned a kid transferring from Wagner or Albany, where a good jump is from there to the A10, might now be lured to the P5 program because that school can just easily give them 50K or maybe 100K right away. And while that kid may see the writing on the wall - playing time will be difficult, it is hard to turn down that amount of money, which the P5 schools will have more of to give out. The dominos is maybe after a year or two - you see some of those kids fall down in the portal to mid-major level or below as playing time becomes more important.best players were going to high majors way before NIL. playing best competition gave them the best chance at the pros.
NIL gave smaller programs the chance to outbid if they could put together the money. this just brings us back to where we were.
