Women: Morgan State @ RC Game thread : Sat 11/9 1pm ESPN+

Morgan State is overmatched in every way. Can't handle Spiders' ball movement, leaving tons of open shots. And on the defensive end we keep hounding the ball, stepping into passing lanes and getting turnovers, while outside of a few threes, the Bears haven't been able to hit. 47–17 with 3 minutes left in the half.

52–22 at the half. Ten Spiders have scored, and Camden leads with 10. Spiders just dominating in every phase of the game, shooting 73% overall and 55% from deep. Dominating the boards, getting to the line some and hitting, plus 10 steals.

Again the only weak spot is 10 turnovers, though Morgan State has coughed it up 13 times.

why the recurring issues with turnovers? what is is about the UR style that causes such a high number? (just checked box score and 8 of 10 UR players have at least 1 turnover this game.)

also, I don't follow enough to know where this ranks in line with women's D1 averages.

Spiders roll, 93–39.

13 different Spiders got on the court for at least 6 minutes, and our top three scorers came off the bench...Camden and Dewey with 15 each and Jimenez with 13.

Much tougher test coming up on Tuesday at Fairfield. Don't let the MAAC affiliation fool you...they went 31–2 last year and cruised to a win at Arkansas in their opener.

Hire Roussell (for men's team.)

Moon would probably do well in the women's game. Much more fluidity there, less physicality.

Wish we could trade coaches in the programs.

2 comments worth noting on the post game presser: 1) Hoping to have Alston back this week. Would be great to have her play on Tuesday against a very good Fairfield team and 2) We will have a return trip to Texas next year
