Teams have figured out how to take King out of the game. Harass him up top, deny him the ball when he gets rid of it and make him work exceedingly hard for any shot. Mooney is always slow to make adjustments either in game or in season, so I suspect this will take a few more games for him to come to the conclusion that he needs to make an adjustment.
And then to top that off, we are taking Quinn out of the game. Our offense works best when we try to run it through Quinn in the low post. I think we did that maybe three times last night the whole game. Rest of the game we were basically doing wind sprints 35 feet from the bucket. When Quinn has the ball at the 3 point line with his back to the basket we are giving the team exactly what they want. That is where Quinn was most of last night. And don't get me started on Walz, who is permanently stationed there with his back to the basket. No need to even guard him out there.
