Its no fun, when the other side has given up. In the last 10 months, China, Russia, Iran and Islamic extremism are ascending. The US has retreated. Fuel prices are rising, inflation is running at 12% a year (not 6.2%), and they are pumping trillions into an over heated economy, while trying to force this country in to socialism.10 days between posts. Uh? I thought you’d tell me I spelled divisiveness wrong. Who said anything about financial support forHow many of the activists have received financial support from the Chinese Communist Party?
Clicking the like tab seems wrong90 days. Our people have been there for 3 MONTHS.
91 days, counting from Sept. 1 to present. The Iran hostage crisis lasted 444 days. This is one of the saddest episodes in the history of our Republic.Clicking the like tab seems wrong
Liz Cheney's group continues to do its job.
"The information that continues to be reported out, that the 1/6 committee continues to share, continues to affirm that there was a conspiracy to try to cancel the election of 2020. That that conspiracy involved the President of the United States and members of Congress and White House Chief of Staff.
"It involved political actors organizing the Stop the Steal rally. This was a multi-pronged effort between actors in the executive branch, actors in the legislative branch, and outside political actors to try to cancel an election for the sole purpose of keeping a President who had lost in power in a failed authoritarian coup."
You go, girl.
You left out the most important name- Joe Biden. There have been 600,000 deaths on his watch. Last year he promised to stop the virus, as he warned of a dark winter.
What is good for the goose is good for the gander...The president has done everything possible to get people vaccinated, through mandates (which the GQP keeps fighting) and other means. Anyone who wants one can easily get a free vaccination.
You can't stop a pandemic if idiots refuse to get vaccinated. ...
It's hilarious you try to blame a president who has made affordable, convenient, life-saving vaccinations a cornerstone of the fight against Covid for the unnecessary deaths...
But you know that.
110?It has been 120 days, and there are still Americans abandoned in Afghanistan by this President. Here they admit to 126 still there.
"by the end of November State was tracking 126 Americans still in Afghanistan with five ready to depart. Will most of them want to remain as the country deteriorates further under Taliban rule, including widespread reports of economic shortages and hunger?"

The failure is one of leadership. Joe Biden couldn't lead his own party out of a wet paper bag. The Democrat party is being run by West Virginia.Manchin just guaranteed he won't get re-elected by screwing the people of his own state, one of the poorest in the country. And a 51-49 loss for BBB, if it comes to that, just gives the Dems a signature issue to run on in 2022.
Wood, you are a good and loyal Spider who knows Oregon politics, but not that of West Virginia. 180 degrees out of phase on this. In 2020 Presidential election, Trump won WVA 68.6% to 29.7%. Ouch! Would be political suicide for Manchin to support the Build Back Better BS Bill.Manchin just guaranteed he won't get re-elected by screwing the people of his own state, one of the poorest in the country.
But hey, it's West Virginia, one of the worst states in the union in education, health care, life expectancy, poverty, drug abuse, etc. Stupid is as stupid does.
US News ranks Oregon #37 for pre K - 12 education. WVA is ranked #41 so guess they are only marginally dumber than Oregonians. They just hold a different view of the proper role of government. They are voting against their bests interests. The union representing WVa coal miners certainly thinks so.
U.S. coal miners' union asks Manchin to 'revisit' opposition to spending bill
The main union representing U.S. coal miners urged West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin to reconsider his opposition to the Biden administration's $1.75 trillion climate and social spending bill to preserve measures that would have benefited its members.www.reuters.com

If you cull Wood Hall out of the Oregon numbers, they fall to 42nd.US News ranks Oregon #37 for pre K - 12 education. WVA is ranked #41 so guess they are only marginally dumber than Oregonians. They just hold a different view of the proper role of government.
Life expectancy: Or 13, WVa 51 (worse than several territories)US News ranks Oregon #37 for pre K - 12 education. WVA is ranked #41 so guess they are only marginally dumber than Oregonians. They just hold a different view of the proper role of government.
It must be difficult for progressives now days, to see the polls of their failing leaders continue to drop.Life expectancy: Or 13, WVa 51 (worse than several territories)
Poverty rate: Or 29, WVa 47
Opioid death rate: Or 20, WVa 50
Smoking rate: Or 13, WVa 50
Infant mortality: Or 16, WVa 41
Percentage of population with a BA or higher: Or 14, WVa 50
Need I go on? West Virginia ranks at or near the bottom in everything. If it's arrogant liberalism to point that out, so be it.
As far as the proper role of the government goes, I'll defer to the Constitution:
We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
I would say the BBB bill promotes the general welfare.
