Its no fun, when the other side has given up. In the last 10 months, China, Russia, Iran and Islamic extremism are ascending. The US has retreated. Fuel prices are rising, inflation is running at 12% a year (not 6.2%), and they are pumping trillions into an over heated economy, while trying to force this country in to socialism.
My biggest concerns are how the Big Media continues to aid the far left by continuing to stoke the divisiveness
in our nation, with one sided views and in some cases just plain lies. Bill Maher has gotten fed up with, and he’s
a prominent supporter of the liberal views.

Keep trying to equate some civil disturbances in the wake of a murder by a policeman with the attempted overthrow of the Federal government, instigated by a president who lost an election by nearly eight million votes. It's great theatre.

The president has done everything possible to get people vaccinated, through mandates (which the GQP keeps fighting) and other means. Anyone who wants one can easily get a free vaccination.
You can't stop a pandemic if idiots refuse to get vaccinated. And we all know which political party the vast majority of the unvaccinated belong to. Almost all of the dying people are unvaccinated (I guess death does fix stupid, however).

The democrats politicized the pandemic last year. In post #421, I quoted left wing sources to show the hypocrisy of Biden's position.
One week before the 2020 election, he claimed a dark winter and many deaths would befall us, if Donald Trump was reelected. He blamed 200,000 deaths on President Trump.
He promised to solve the pandemic. Now he warns of a winter of death. Most of those getting COVID now have been vaccinated.
By this logic Joe Biden has caused the deaths of 600,000 Americans since he took office.
How is Joe Biden going to solve this? He can't even string two sentences together. He can't solve the pandemic. He won't be straight with the American people.

The failure is one of leadership. Joe Biden couldn't lead his own party out of a wet paper bag. The Democrat party is being run by West Virginia.
Wood, you are a good and loyal Spider who knows Oregon politics, but not that of West Virginia. 180 degrees out of phase on this. In 2020 Presidential election, Trump won WVA 68.6% to 29.7%. Ouch! Would be political suicide for Manchin to support the Build Back Better BS Bill.

US News ranks Oregon #37 for pre K - 12 education. WVA is ranked #41 so guess they are only marginally dumber than Oregonians. They just hold a different view of the proper role of government.They are voting against their bests interests. The union representing WVa coal miners certainly thinks so.

As far as the proper role of the government goes, I'll defer to the Constitution:

I would say the BBB bill promotes the general welfare.
