Kinda odd she only lasted four years in the position and is just stepping down as opposed to moving on to bigger things. Current announced plan is to take a sabbatical and then return as faculty, but that could change.

SF, fly the coop was supposed to return as a faculty member. do you know if he ever did? perhaps this move was caused by the departure of our current prez.....

Yes, Coop returned as faculty in psychology and leadership studies. I know for a number of years he was teaching a Jepson course on leadership in higher education, but I don't know if that's still going. Never saw evidence of him teaching anything close to a full course load, so I'm not sure what his responsibilities are with most of his time. Unsurprisingly the position appears to have mostly served as a golden parachute to get him out of office.
