Well, his dad said he was cleared health wise, so obviously it was a coaches decision. Hope Roche is OK.No Roche and no Crabtree - although I don't think Crabtree matters, but I thought when Roche goes down - he would be the guy to fill in with some minutes. With no Roche or Crabtree - maybe DJI gets some time. He got 0 minutes vs. UMASS - does anyone know if anything is wrong with him?

Great post. What's wrong with Dji? We have a coach that doesn't have any in-game courage:
But most importantly and pertinently:
- can't summon the courage to get 4-5 minutes of rest during the game for Tyler Burton
- can't summon the courage to move away from the Grace/Quinn starting lineup
- can't identify time for Aiden Noyes, who has done nothing but perform when on the floor this year
- can't summon the courage to play Marcus Randolph at times when it is obvious that his energy is needed
- still leans on the rally-killing sub-5 minute timeout in the second half after we score a basket.
- can't find the courage to let young players play through mistakes, with a very small minority of exceptions
UMASS game management was incredibly frustrating to watch.
All of this. I've said this before Mooney is like Rainman, he is addicted to his routine, which is horrible when the routine you have is absolutely getting clobbered out there, which it is right now. What's wrong with Dji? We have a coach that doesn't have any in-game courage:

First 200 out - hang a banner."We were the first team out"
I don’t know…I think if he was healthy we’d be like 20-2 right now on the season and ordering another banner to hang at the contract extension ceremony 😂If it is close rest him, there us no need to risk more damage. Odds are strong against us in this one, whether he plays or not.
Slow down on Roche as well - he is still only shooting 29% from 3 in A10 games, and we have played 8 of them. Overall, including OOC he is shooting well - but as I have mentioned before - he has hit a mini-slump of sorts. But I think all shooters hit this, and I much rather he have it now, and maybe catch fire in A10 tourney.Rest the Roach.
With Tyler he's beating a dead horse. He's 20th in minutes PG nationally and not surprisingly 1st during A10 play at 38.3 PG. He's giving his all and needs more than 1 minute breathers. Some games has look of a worn out player near game's end.We have a coach that doesn't have any in-game courage:

Goose scored 2 points, 1 rebound and 2 turnovers, and nobody on Dayton was shutdown.I hope Goose scores 10+ points today and shuts his man down and stops my posts but just pointing out info.
At 79.4% minutes played he ranks 24th in A10 play. Goose is at 4.4 PPG along with great D. Haven't looked but guess 23 players above him majority at 10+PPG and nobody lower than 5.
Do coaches recruit/offer a defensive player over an equally efficient offensive player? Maybe wrong but turning a average defensive player into a good one much easier/successful than average offensive player into a good one.
Once again just stating my opinion with thinking more of Randolph, Dji, whoever can't hurt the team more than Goose staying in helps the team in the long run. We need at this point to look to the future while Mooney might be thinking 55/45.
Goose gets plenty of playing time to show what he can or cannot do. Not everyone is afforded that opportunity but you knew that. Keep crying and being a drama queen and making everything about you though 😭So, I guess it IS okay to criticize players on here. Even use stats if you want. I have been told time and time again we shouldn't really do that. But, I get it. Only I am not allowed to say the slightest negative thing about anyone. Everyone else can say what they want.
I agree that Roche or LeBron would have made no difference in this game. Glad Roche got the rest and healing time.Narrator: A couple of made threes by Roche would not have been the difference today.
I suggest you stop using stats and go with the eye test of Goose being the A-10 DPOY and best athlete on the floor argument. You will feel better than about playing all of the minutes he plays. At 79.4% minutes played he ranks 24th in A10 play. Goose is at 4.4 PPG along with great D. I don't get what you saying 97? You think I should give Goose his due as being the best defender in the A10 which proves his worth playing 32 minutes PG?I suggest you stop using stats and go with the eye test of Goose being the A-10 DPOY and best athlete on the floor argument. Lol at my age getting slower on the uptake …. On occasion it never arrives. I thought 97 was in accord with me and went saw a few posts that showed it last night. Thanks!97 didn't add the /s at the end of his post to indicate sarcasm. Because everyone knows the best sarcasm is the kind that you need to point out to others.
Lol, I got hammered on a prior thread for suggesting that maybe Goose's defensive prowess might be a tad exaggerated. Been saying since preseason that Goose's skill set was great for last year team, sub optimal for this year's team. So, yeah, sarcasm.I don't get what you saying 97? This seems like indication. I don't think they'd lead with Roche pic if he wasn't but u never know...Any indication on whether Roche has a chance of playing tonight?
Good I want him at full strength Sunday for Formidable Fordham…This seems like indication. I don't think they'd lead with Roche pic if he wasn't but u never know...
