I know we lost a tough game, but let's still have some hope about Rocco. Let's not assume he is gone until the announcement is officially made.

I've read this thread over the last week and a half, just a UND outsider here. Rocco seems to me to be a great coach, he made adjustments after halftime and figured out how he had a chance to win in our game last week. Granted we also made some terrible mistakes that helped his cause, but I give him lots of credit. Don't let him slip away. I'll also add that he was given crap for the Delaware rumors, and after the game he spouted back at those fans, that shows a lot of character to me. Also, that he has some pride in Richmond, maybe more than you guys think. This Keith Gill seems to be a CANCER!

maybe he promised delaware he would meet with them at the end of the season and he is going to keep his word. would expect that of him. we still may have some hope here.
I love Rocco, but his vision may have been he wants to be the big man on campus. This may be evidenced by this turning into The Coach Rocco show on Monday. Please start the bidding. I hope I am wrong, but Delaware may give home the status he is looking for. Might not be money. Hell I don't know, just that this is not how an organization should negotiate with talent. What a mess. I just know that if I were UR I would not be looking to be a part of the show...of course I would have kept better tabs on the talent and making them happy and not get the n this morass.

When I was younger I negotiated myself out of two jobs by playing a similar game to a Rocco...albeit for lower stakes and having far less to offer. russ has a million dollar buy out so pretty steep price and who is to say he or his fam want to leave chatty. he can make more money but maybe east coast is more expensive than tn so probably a wash.
