Moon is 2-14 at VCU. His average loss there is 15 pts. His closest losses at VCU are 7 & 8 pts. Every other loss is by double digits. U will hear all about competing and the challenges vcu brings from Moon. Hello we don't even compete at VCU. maybe change it up, how we need to win to make a rivalry, how we expect to win even tho an underdog. maybe have Dusan or AP yell 'Eyebrows' after every bucket. I swear Moon's scared as schoolgirl vibe doesn't help us.

If VCU did not lose this week to St. Louis and had we just eaked out a win vs. GW, I would feel 1% better about this game. Maybe we could sneak up on VCU as the look past us, but I doubt that will happen now. And I have a feeling Odom, given the recent loss will look to make this a 20 point game if possible for NET reasons. VCU needs that NET ranking to be in the 40's-50's by the end of the season and with very few losses. So if beating us by 20+ keeps them holding steady in the NET - then they will do it. Plus - given our lack of offensive lately, I think they will look to pressure us and cause turnovers.

Correct. VCU is gonna be mad and they are going to take it out on us. Watching them play, it is not going to be pretty. They are aggressive all of the time, they attack the offensive glass, they out athlete us at every position.
1. Could this make it an 18 pt game instead of 25?

If VCU just plays its normal game, & we play our normal game, then I suspect we'll get drubbed. With VCU's loss to St L this week coupled with our down year in general & with lackluster play last night at GW, I just don't see a close game. To keep the hidden homers happy, I'll say all of us based in reality are with you, and want nothing more than an upset.

Our entire mentality with that school from our administration is “please don’t hurt us.”
Until we match their intensity, we will continue to yield the same results.

Having watched VCU play a few times, this is by far the biggest difference between us and them. They play with an intensity on both end of the courts that is on a different level than ours. Obviously, their talent and roster is also on a different level than the one Moomey has assembled for us.
If this is anything other than a complete waxing of us, it is only because Odom calls off the dogs at the end on his buddy Mooney. After all, he wants Mooney at UR for as long as possible as well, just like every other VCU fan does.
