The CAA is consuming itself. 6 ranked teams - 2 played each other, and the other 4 all lost to unranked conference foes.
UNH probably climbs into the polls next week, while 2 or 3 teams will drop out.

That pretty much sums up every year in CAA football.

We have a bunch of issues, but winning at Maine with a noon kickoff is a good win.
It's a good win. I know we've all been disappointed in the 2 1/2 seasons under Russ. This was a road win against a ranked team. Has that "marquee" coach at UR had a road win against a ranked team in the past 3 seasons?

The real question is... what would that "marquee" coach done with our team in the last 3 years? Everyone has been giving Russ a pass because he was working with another coach's players. Wasn't Rocco in the same situation?

We can only speculate about it now.

Frank Beamer was a marquee coach.
His first six years at Tech weren't very remarkable.

1987 2–9
1988 3–8
1989 6–4–1
1990 6–5
1991 5–6
1992 2–8–1

Just saying.

I wasn't referring to Rocco.
I was referring to a coach currently at Richmond.

Hint: not Chemotti
