At 35-10 Liberty baseball is nationally ranked. If they can we can.

It starts with LU being fully funded for scholarships...believe all sports there are funded to the max. They also just opened a $20 million, 2500 seat stadium a year ago, although their success predates that project.

How many scholarships are allowed by the NCAA? How many do we offer?

In addition to the 11 or 12 the others pay around 20 and at UR its 50+. That makes it tough on Tracy and admissions is also a "bear". Not to make excuses , just stating a fact. With a sport like baseball , walkons are the majority of your team. I am hoping that with the planned improvements to Pitt Field, Tracy will be able to attract some kids that have probably been turned off by the facilities.

Baseball can award up to 11.7 scholarships, with a maximum of 27 players receiving aid.

Every player receiving aid must receive at least a 1/3 scholarship.

No kidding! The Diamond isn't even in the same league as that one. Hopefully the new stadium in the Bottom happens so Richmond can have a showplace for a change.
