Yes. The false start penalty helped, too.
I had Under 73.5. Was on the verge of seeing 2 TDs and a FG scored in the last 1:15 of the game.

The team played well.How about Gilyard 9 assist and 7 steels along with 18 points? Very good to see. He is a game changer and his health has a lot to do with how the rest of the season goes.
HP not a good team but at least the Spiders got the W. Positive aspects were 87% from foul line going 24-28. Also 38% with 3PTA.

You can only beat the teams on your schedule. Right now when teams beat us they think - So what? We beat Richmond. We're an embarrassing loss to around 80% of D1 programs right now
I'll admit it. I was disappointed we won. Makes me sick to my stomach to think that every win gets us closer to Mooney returning.
It's a dangerous game hoping we lose. I'm hoping the people in charge can see Mooney for who he is (hot garbage) and consider the losing record in OOC for the 2nd year in a row, and this year with one of the worst D1 OOC schedules.

Apparently you were watching a different game. The largest lead I think was 19 pts and that was around the 6 min mark.
One of the announcers was Junior Burroughs, I think he played for Virginia in the mid 90s.
The absence of Shae Peppler doesn't help.
It is pathetic. Simultaneously, VCU was playing Wichita State on ESPN and we were playing High Point in an empty gym in DC somewhere on Facebook Live. This is our "new normal".
High Point had at least 10 times as many fans there as Richmond. We had about 25 total. Twenty-five. More than half of whom were either related to a player or worked for UR. So about ten real REAL fans.
Given his complete lack of perspective on our program, I can only deduce that Senior Burroughs was unavailable today at the last minute.

Other than yourself - I mean, it's bad form to criticize someone for not attending if you weren't there - who were the other nine REAL fans on hand?
I just knew nothing good could come from us winning a game.
Why on earth did we play this game? A neutral site against a poorly rated team??? I can only guess it was our attempt to help this new facility in a what is/was a rough part of DC? Any other guesses?
The explanation was that it was a bad time to have a game at the RC due to school being out and fans not around both of which are valid. Not sure why we didn’t just play a true road game though, our schedule is pretty much devoid of those OOC and this is a game we should be able to win normally.
FEMA and Homeland Security are now headquartered on the site. Perhaps someone realized our program needs protection and emergency management...................................Not sure if FEMA has completed their move to the site.
