“One of our best shooting teams ever”. CM

Throw out the 2 D2 wins and we have 5 wins. Probability of getting 10 wins this year?

It's honestly kind of refreshing to not care all that much this season. I don't worry about whether any of my other activities conflict with a game...if I'm around, I'll watch. If not, no big deal. Only caught the last 5 minutes of tonight's game when it was already over, and I feel no need to go back and catch up with an ESPN+ replay.

SF - I feel the same way. Easy choice tonight - attend the women's game and catch the end of the men's on ESPN+. Despite having MBB season tickets, I've skipped the last few games to do things that bring me more enjoyment.

Beagle cannot cover the other teams center since he has great difficulty in boxing out
and Walz has the forward who is 5 inches shorter. Beagle gets pushed off the block and
lane on offense.

Now question is why can teams continually drive the lane on us successfully and we settle for
a three.

1. GW3 got 8 pts. He got 9 minutes. I mean, ok.
2. 49 pts, “disappointing”
3. Is Scramble a formal defensive system?

Only bright side is GW3 can score, and AP can actually pass when playing as a guard. Tyne and White are not good passers, and this year they are also some of the worst shooters I have ever seen. AP is actually finding our bigs and facilitating easy buckets.

Maybe if he starts hitting threes we can have a 6’8” shooting guard. Positionlessly of course.

I just watched the highlights from the women's game. Every 3 they take, the shooter sets feet, squares to the basket, and has a nice release up top. I'm truly curious if they spend time coaching on shooting form, because it all looks really solid form wise. Then I watch the men's team. I think -- not positive -- that Mooney has gone on record saying they don't practice form. Just emphasizes getting shots up.

Well, Tyne has been here nearly 2 years and still doesn't get his feet square. Deion Taylor shot with this ridiculous hitch in his shot for 4 years and no one sought to fix that. So, I don't know if he said that or not, but seems on par.

Also never heard of a coaching staff not addressing guys shooting forms, seems like an elemental part of coaching basketball to me. But then again, I presumed our coaching staff knew the substitution rules for college basketball until last week too.

Get used to it. You likely will feel this “who gives a shit” bliss for years to come. Hardt and Queally have been feeling it for years so it might as well infect the rest of us.
